There is already a trench for the wheel to sit in.

Yes if you make a custom part from anything from Walmart then you are a Ricer.

I basically made some custom side diffusers using a $5 plastic gutter and this new product called wraptivo made by meguires. I saw an ad for it in the new import tuner magazine and it said available at walmart. After visiting 3 walmarts with no luck, i called meguires customer care and the guy told me only select walmarts will have it in stock. The closest was Monroe.

I am very happy with the wraptivo, and the results of my ricerness.

Will probably take some nikon pics tomorrow at some point.

I think it turned out great. It helps bring together the CF pieces on the front and rear.

Eric's car is full of one-off and different parts from other cars. Why is this looked down upon so much?

We can't go and buy a CF lip kit like you can Jason.

Yes Eric's car is full of great custom parts and great quality parts adapted from other cars to fit the TL. The key with what he has done in the past is always used quality parts.

My and it will be the last time I say it because peoples choices are there own and I am not going to continue to force it down someones throat. I just feel that with the quality and level Eric has built his car over the years it is worthy of something better. I almost feel that it degrades from the rest of the car to make something from a plastic gutter and some fake CF vinyl. I mean I can even see the edges of the vinyl at the end of the splitter.

I didn't expect him to go spend a fortune on a different part. In fact the part I suggested which is quoted below from my earlier post would only cost him $279.20. Almost every part he has purchased for his car in the past has cost more than. It isn't like I am suggesting spending several grand instead.

Don't pull that line. You have been doing this for a long time with that car and gone all out with top notch parts and made them work from other cars. You had great determination before to do so. Now you just seem to have lost your way. You did the work in figuring out if the Project Mu brakes would work. You made a Greddy strut bar from an Accord work. You made an Evo Cusco cage and HKS Titanium exhaust work. Do you see the key things here that you made work that are TOP QUALITY parts. You didn't cut corners and say I am going to get some ebay intake, ebay strut bar, pipe cleaner roll cage, and a Pep Boys exhaust.

No you were crazy determined to take top quality JDM parts and do the research to figure out if you could make them fit your car.

I just had a lot of respect for all the hard work you took in figuring out if you could make quality stuff from other cars fit your car to make it look unique. It is what set your car apart so much and made is so unique.

People will ask why am I mad or why do I care so much. I am not mad I just have known Eric a long time and saw the hard work he put into building that car to be absolutely one of a kind and in my opinion top 3 if not best modded TL's out there. I had continued aspirations as to see where he would take the car over the years but he has just seem to have lost the passion you once had for it.

Well just to add my 2 cents.....not like it matters from a newbie but I like the addition. I looks great! Honestly tho for me I feel similar to CCColtsicehockey(name unknown LOL). Im not sure that I would do the addition myself unless it was a manufactured mod. It doesn't help that I'm not that innovative either LOL. For what its worth tho it does look good in pics!

Bee - Double fail...fail for posting in the black hole, and fail for not posting a link. That said, the wheels look great; can't wait to see the mounted.

Morgan - Good looking out ...sorry you had to go to 3G, though; I know it was painful.
