The Lexus has been having some fits lately, so my girlfriend and myself decided to order some parts for the car. I decided the lexus has an attitude and wanted some attention so we are giving it to her. Ordered fresh falken ziex ze-912s, black housing headlights, and a front lip. Everything was ordered off ebay. Washed her saturday and took a few photos while testing the 3200 with the 55-300.

The better the car starts to look the more i'm probably going to invest in it. If i were to change the wheels, red TE37s are on the top of the list. The brakes are making some sounds here and there, so maybe something will get changed.

Thanks Tyler! I'm trying to figure out if the D90 or D3200 has better clarity. It's hard to tell.

 

And for continuity, I will be spray painting the front lip as I did the rear lip.

haha helllll yeah that's gonna look good. Everytime i see a white car with red wheels it makes me jolt inside at first sight. Once I see yours on the car it's probably going to make me really want to do it. My girlfriend says she wants to see me photoshop red TEs onto a pic of her car before she let's me do anything like that. She stated she isn't sure if she is ready for all that right now. haha

Some dude in Florida had his TE37s painted dark red and was attempting to match his recaro seats. It's a teal TL that popped up a few times on facebook a few weeks ago. V2 lab. I'm looking for a pic of it on Flickr but i'm not finding one.

 

 

Well pretty sure they don't make parts for a Buick and putting mods on a Buick would just be ricey. So the last part I bought for it was a radio.


However, since I will be handing the IS-F down to her in a few years when I decide to pick up something new I have done a rather good bit to her eventual car.

that funny my wife first choices were either bronze or gold. then i couldn't find a gold she like and powdercoating was too much for me. so i saw red and she kind of liked the ideal plus a freind back me up and she got on board once i layed down the paint on them. you just gota give her a theme on what you want to do with the car... then when she refuse show her picture of cute cats. then say it again lol.

 

haha cute cats. I should try a technique like that. At lunch today we further discussed this topic. She said she would be more inclined to do pink or neon yellow as opposed to the red. We also both agreed that i should dismount two gold one's off my car and test them on one side of her car and then take photos.

you should do fuschia.... that or a like candy pink, my wife wanted that also but i wasn't gonna pay alot of money to paint some rotas lol. but do put your wheels on her car, it was hard trying to find white car with red/candy red wheels lol.
