So with Vinny getting sick and it being Labor Day weekend, I didn't make the meet at the dealer. I talked to Kory and he said he was roling out. How was the meet and are there any pictures? BTW....I saw the news about 2 weeks ago about the street racing after the meet at the college. Exactly what Eric was afraid of when Kory wanted to race. Man those guys are fucked.
As for Acuras in attendance, there was Kory's TL, Justins NBP TL, and mine, along with Ben's TSX from Atlanta, and Nam's TSX from Raleigh.
Near the end of the show, they were giving out awards. I was talking to a guy about his car off in the distance, and i heard them call my name for Best Acura, with the Acura TSX! hahaha!...once again, my car has been mistaken for a TSX.
And as for commenting on the UNCC dilemna, ...it's a shame some individuals can't just go to a car meet to hang out and look at other cars and the work that has gone into each of them...and instead venture off to race and ruin the ENTIRE event for everyone. It's fuckin ridiculous. Detective Rango and other officers were actually at this Hendrick Honda meet last night checking VIN numbers and gathering intell.

Glad the meet was a good time. Big shocker the cops were there. I can't remember if it rained Saturday...doesn't sound like it was a deal breaker if it did. I know it rained Sunday because I washed the car in the morning and it got rained on all night 
...guess I should've stayed home.
Is anyone coming out tomorrow night?

I had a feeling once I saw that race on fox news two days in a row that something was gonna happen in the future. It only takes one person to wreck a good thing. I spoke with Black dc2 and he said the show was great. I wanted to make it but I had the parentals over for the weekend for the Matthews Alive festival.
Eric, It doesn't surprise me that you took first but it did surprise me that at a car meet, they can't tell the difference between a TSX and a TL.
Is anyone planning on going to the Auto Show at the Concord speedway this weekend? I hope the hurricane weather stays away for that. Over 1500 cars on display!

^^^ I hope that we don't get this our way but hurricanes can cover a l lot of land so we will see. I am guessing I will be making it out on Sunday. I am stuck in VA till Thursday.

I'll go ahead and warn you, Sunday is a bad day to go. Once the awards are handed out, everyone leaves. On top of that, a lot of the for sale cars are gone by then, too. Even though it's technically a four-day show, Saturday is the day to go.
But the worst is the weather. Most of the AAMA guys won't bring their cars out of their trailers if it's raining (or threatening), and if they do, will put them back as soon as they're judged. I went to the show in April, which was one of a handful of national events for AAMA...it only rained a little...most of the cars didn't leave their trailers (despite the importance of being judged at a national event).

Hey guys, i just moved down to Huntersville about 2 weeks ago and go to school at UNCC (im from jersey) id love to meet up with some people around the area as im still getting adjusted to everything down here so it'd be cool to meet up with some fellow acura drivers... so if something gets organized id be there.

no respect for jack i guess -- $500 doesn't even show up on the radar. i'm not selling the tsx anytime soon: it's paid off, i've got too much $ invested in mods, and a couple new mods will be here soon ...

I'm currently trying to procure a tire...some jackass is bidding on it, too. Doesn't he know it's mine and I'm supposed to get it for a steal? There will be a photoshoot if and when I get a tire and get the Devotions back on. So somebody go tell that jackass to quit bidding on my tire.
