I'm at 118. I haven't been drinking my six each week the last couple of months, and I've missed several Thursdays during that time, as well. Still, not bad considering I didn't really start until February/March.

Ok guys, the video from the last meet was made. Production guy made his own beats and everything. He is pretty busy with his work and didn't want to bother him too much. It was okay i guess but I'm going to get some of the raw footage and make my own video also.
Oh and every time we have a meet, it seems like everybody be driving off hella fast and splitting up. It would be nice if everyone stuck together sometime for some cool caravan pics, rolling shots or whatever. Let me find a way to share a link to the video.

LOL. I think that would be easier if we were to go on a long stretch of interstate like 485. If you do get separated getting there, you can easily pull onto the shoulder to wait for the rest of the group. In town, it's too easy to get separated by lights. It's hard to get 15 cars through a turn signal, and there's almost nowhere to pull over and wait for everyone else.

I'm about to make a 'RIP Acuras' thread. There will be a bunch of acuras from this thread alone. It's going to be a very big and long thread probably once everyone posts their favorite acuras from the past.

Yeah i figured your tsx is resting in peace for sure now. You keep posting photos of Lexus IS-Fs and you said you were going to start making progress on the tsx in october and october has come and gone and no progress pics have been posted.

Yeah well you try finding a good condition 2004 or 2005 TSX with Black or Grey interior with MT and Navi that is somewhat local to pickup. It hasn't been the easiest thing getting a parts car and I am not going to rebuild it as an Auto and do the MT swap later as it will be easier to do now with less risk of damaging painted surfaces. All good builds take time. When this is done we will race......I will WIN THE TRUTH

I would like you to consider putting your hood, fenders, bumper, radiator support beam, etc on and get the car down here. And then, when you finally are able to find and purchase a parts car, you can go ahead and take all of those 'painted surfaces pieces' off the car to avoid any headaches.
Let me know if i am not understanding something here, but i really don't think the color of the parts car is going to matter.

Why does the color of the tsx matter when you're only going to take the transmission out and put it in your cgp.

It is easy to find a MT TSX but not an MT TSX with a Navi in it.
I am not doing the MT swap or the engine build. I am having a shop in Carlisle PA do it which is why I am not bringing the car down here. One of the best Kpro Tuners on the East Coast is there and I am going to get my engine built and properly tuned there as well as the MT swap with upgraded clutch and flywheel as well.
Also I am still waiting on Headlights, grill, badges, grill trim, radiator plate, and bumper reinforcement bar from Japan. Shit is fucked up over there if you didn't know and my order has been delayed 4 times so far and hopefully won't contain much radiation when it does arrive.
Trust me I would love to have this car back on the road right now but I will not cut corners. Another reason of delay is because during the summer I was toying with RHD thought but decided to not do it and put the added costs that would be involved into my NSX saving fund instead.
Also saying remove the painted pieces at a later date must mean you have never removed fenders from a car and then gone through the pain staking process of realigning all the gaps between doors, fenders, hood, and bumper when you have to put it back together. Doing it once is a pain would never want to do it more than that.

The exterior color of the car does not matter it is the interior that matters. Black and grey interiors have silver trim and tan has wood trim. The trim piece is built into the navi and to replace it you must buy an entire new faceplate from Acura for $500+.
It is easy to find a MT TSX but not an MT TSX with a Navi in it.

Early Spring 2012 is the planned completion. I hope to have it completed to be able to attend the first show of the year which is TunerWar at the Farm Show Building in Harrisburg, PA. Normally takes place about the 3rd weekend in the month. After that show it would be transported the Charlotte area most likely unless I leave it in PA possibly till the Carlisle show in May. After that it will definitely be down here. I am actually making contact currently with two separate sellers right now on possible parts cars. I would like to get this project underway no later than Thanksgiving.

...says the one who didn't go the National Acurazine meet in Kansas and the one who turned down free tickets to the SEMA show (which I'm leaving for tomorrow btw).
I think I drive more than any other Acurazine member for meets. If I see that a meet was shitty (HIN), I'm not going to waste my time or gas attending the next one.

LOL.
NoDa Brewery is a cool place. Just opened up last weekend from being a homebrew. Not a bad start. The beer is good, so I'm looking forward to seeing them grow. If anyone else local is interested, you can check the link I posted previously. Help support the local guys

Its all in what you make of it. I personally enjoy going to the hin events. Some are better than others. Obviously the socal one is the big daddy of them all. I think a big problem are the people that don't go because they feel their feelings are going to be hurt if they dont win something. Which is very sad.
