Wheel design is nice. Did you get a larger size though with less tire showing?
#4204
Middle Finger anyone?
iTrader: (9)
nope. Those are stock sized wheels. 15x6.5 I think. I can use stock sized tires. I think these go well with the blue fiesta. They have 17" that'll fit, but at a significant weight gain per wheel. And I think that would really hurt the car and make it slower since it doesn't have much power anyways.

Go 16s then

Whats up with RDX owners?
iTrader: (9)
With a slight drop the 15s actually look pretty good.
VS
Ok its more like a 2" drop, but whatever.

That sounds about right. I've been searching for a E30 on Craigslist and I already have a general idea of what I would want one to look like.

Flat black, tint, no bumpers, tubbed, 12" wide rear tires, and a built, turbo'd S52 for me please. Add extra dents for added presence.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks about that car

You really considering dumping the TL comfort for a E30?

Hell no. I would keep the TL and get an E30 for a DD.

Alex, you got the phone # for that girl in your avatar? Hook a brother up. Jeez!
I found out that the fiesta is more expensive to insure than the TL. With the same coverage. Explain that to me.
FORD ..............ACURA
$18k new..........$36k + new
cheap parts.......expensive parts
no leather.........leather
more airbags......less airbags
5star crash ratg...5star crash rating
less luxury..........more luxury
Explain that to me. The insurer said it was because if the fiesta ever got in an accident then the computers would all need to be reset or whatever. Like the TL doesn't have a shit ton of computers. So I am going to be looking around to different companies. Does anyone know of a good company that would offer discounts for new cars or new customers?

That seems strange to me, too. Definitely call around. I'm with Nationwide currently, but it's because I get a discount for working where I worked. Was planning on shopping around anyway when home and car came up in May since my ticket came off in October, but losing the discount really opens it up. Check with Amica. They were decent the last time I shopped around. Only reason I didn't go with them was the work discount for Nationwide. I had wanted to get on Erie, but that ticket fucked me (need seven years spotless record, and I got the ticket at six and a half years ).

Last time I checked I always though it cost more to insure a newer car. What is the blue book value your TL now? If the value is less than the Fiesta then the reason it costs more is the replacement value is more as well.

Yeah you're right.
I don't like the wheels but...

But lets not forget, the 6spd in the TL's have a 3rd gear issue. Mine had to be replaced. Tranny rebuilt and everything. Acura paid for it all. So as long as I don't have to pay for it to be fixed then that is ok with me. I'm used to it.

Super excited about the meets myself.
Hopefully they won't cockblock me @ the WFC meet like they did @ ISO in Moorseville last summer. We'll see I suppose.

Basically when I came to that meet, they made me park out back.
I know my car isn't anything that special...but I didn't necessarily feel like I needed to park with all the ricers
Looking back, it's really not a big deal at all. I think it just rubbed me the wrong way at the time.

Well I will park in the back since I am bringing the F in stock form. I will have flush but not stanced wheels for Spring IA though.

I'm actually a member of the ISO staff. Although I wasn't at that meet due to work obligations, I will say that the parking is based on Stance solely. That was the whole reason behind the original ISO events we held was to get the Stance movement on the map in NC. We are in the process of revamping our events for this upcoming year and will be a little less picky on cars that we allow to "park up front" so to speak. Sorry if we offended you at the Charlotte meet. It wasn't because we thought your car wasn't nice
I was more speaking out of jest tbh.

I thought about it but I think I'm going to pass. I'm actually going to have Saturday off of work for a change so I'm going to take advantage of it and sleep, wash the car, and whatever else I decide to do.
