Dodged the bullet yesterday. I was one of the unlucky people driving down the S805 yesterday.
Trip home from Sorrento to Chula Vista was 2hours and 15mins.![ugh](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ugh.gif)
Here's the part where I got lucky. I passed by an 18 wheeler, which slammed into the center divide on N805 near the 54. The accident threw chucks of concrete onto the S805 two left lanes. Of course CHP comes up fast from the shoulder and everyone has to move to their right to make way. Unfortunatly, I'm stuck in the fast lane trying to move over, and not get hit at the same time. Long story short, I had the joy of running over chucks of concrete. The sound of concrete grinding under my car was painful, and I couldn't wait to get home to make sure the TL was in one piece. Well, everything seems to be in good condition, however, I'll need to jack the car up this weekend to get a better look.![Wish](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wish.gif)
Hope you all made it through the rain safely. Not sure why SoCal drivers have a hard time in the rain.

Thanks Roca. Yeah, the TL can always be fixed and that's what insurance is for. Plus, I saw a truck that was overturned right before my exit.
Sure hope the driver made it out safely. I've tried going home using Miramar @ 4pm on a normal day, and it's like a parking lot.
Can only imagine what yesterday was like.

Traffic does get ridiculous when a few raindrops hit the ground. I guess this happens just because some SoCal natives aren't used to driving in the elements. Lame.

Hi all
Hello fellow San Diegans, im new to this site so bare with me... I am a proud owner of a 2003 TL-S, I love that car although the Transmission replacement at 60,000 miles pretty much pissed me off but oh well... I bought the car in Hawaii 2 years ago and shipped it when i moved back to san diego. Happy to be back home with it.

Hey guys i might not show up at the meet or might just show up a lil late. I gotta work on my wheels and calipers early sat morning in my buddies driveway, since i can not work on my car in my apt building :/

good luck hope you end up making it.
Damn guys my suspension is driving me nuts I've retightened every bolt checked the sway bar mounts taken apart the coilover and put them back together and still it is making this bouncy metal on metal sound on my passenger side there's signed of the upper control arm where my camber kits are hitting my frame. no liquid is coming out from my coilovers so I don't think they are blown but I'm starting to question it now.
I really don't want to send them into Tien it is more time and money haha fuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh

^ I'm running into the same problems with my TEIN Basics, except both of my fronts are very bouncy and noisey .. rears are perfectly fine

Sucks to hear that. I thought Teins were supposed to be top end suspension gear.

^ I learned my lesson, never buying used suspension ever again.
I ordered a new slave cylinder for my clutch, time to take out that pesky check valve responsible for all the play / vague engagement in the clutch
.
Hopefully the weather stays clear this weekend! Meet will be good.

Delta, sweet setup on the JLs!
I was thinking the same thing about Tiens, should I get them or not, and then the list of issues.![ugh](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ugh.gif)
Can't wait for better weather. I made a recent purchase and still debating if I want to do the mod.

It’s a black XM antenna. I’m debating if I want to cover my roof in glossy black vinyl. I’ve read that the XM antenna is the hardest part of the wrap, so I bought a black one off ebay since it was such a good deal.
