Sacramento is superrrrrr cheap compared to SF. A studio in SF rent goes for about 900, and that's just for a studio in the city, of course you can move to the outskirts of SF. We looked at houses in Sac we found a couple of good/nice areas for around 250k and under. These are 4 bed 3 car garage 3 bath 2 story houses. Couple years ago those houses were going for 600k.
Yea, all I hear about is the weather, plus I'm a Chargers fan so I have to come down just to check out a couple of the games LOL.

Also, I forgot to mention traditional tourist spots like Old Town, Balboa Park, and San Diego Zoo, in the email I sent to you.
Go Chargers!

There are ALOT of houses in Temecula right now in that $250k price range 4-6 bedrooms. If you compare Sac to SF and Temecula to SD. Temecula is about an hour away from SD while Sac to SF is an hour and a half

I pay $400 a month to live a block from the beach, life is tough
.
I'm looking to move out soon .. definitely going to feel the heat when I'm paying around $700 - $800 for a comfortable place to live.
I'm thinking of going further down south and closer to downtown, only young once right?

This conversation is hilarious!
I recall being offered a protective under coating when I purchased my 4runner about 6 years ago and decided I didn't need it. The under carriage of my 4runner is stil in great shape, and I've taken it everywhere. That being said, I do not think any additional protection is needed, but you can always contact an acura dealership to see what they can offer you, so you can sleep better at night. Or I think it's whale watching season, so you can always try for KN.TL06 application.
Ha.

^ I think the undercoating is only necessary when you're daily driving something back east where it snows like crazy, the road salts really take a toll on *anything* metal.

Do you have some pictures of the old car's roof? My mom's Dodge Caravan, which she had for 10+ years, had some clear coat paint issues on the roof and hood. When we asked dealership about why the clear coat was pealing like a skin rash, they told us it was the cheap wax that is applied in certain car wash facilities. Not sure if this is just their BS. I've lived in SD most of my life, I think as long as you properly wax your cars, and try to keep them garaged to limit exposure you should be fine. My

Goodbye.
Sorry, no pics of said roof.
I do regular washes and detailing, but just not sure if I should be washing the car everytime I return from the beach.....or if that was just overkill to do so.

+1 on keeping your car properly waxed.
My car came from the east coast with a couple spots on the clear coat. The damage has not spread in the 2 years I've lived on the coast and I wash my car probably once or twice a month.
Wax is key!

Went to the alignment shop to get my camber kit installed and recheck alignment. Yes, the install I could have done myself, but no time and I don't want to wear the tires driving to the shop. Camber is all set

Technician went to test drive and brought my TL back with two curbed rims, and one tire with a chuck ripped half way off.

Shop manager is a straight up dude and is going to pay for two new rims.

My new headlights from JnC came in and I got them installed. Took me three hours, which I thought was going to take me longer. I'll take some pics when the weather is better. Overall I guess it was a pretty good day.

I have to send them to JnC. He uses a core replacement program, so buyers can still use their cars while he works on their custom headlights. Plus a deposit of course.

Hi Guys, if anyone is thinking about getting an CAI for their TL, I'm selling my Injen CAI on BM.
