Looks really clean dude are you going to drop it more? You're on metals right? I just put in my camber kits and now my front passenger side makes a bouncing noise when I go over bumps

Hey Mike,

Can you take a picture of the damage? Could it be taken care of with PDR?

Idk what I meant by metals the itouch corrected me haha maybe I meant megans. But I'm on ingall camber kits front and rear and running tien ss'. The noise(began right after I installed the camber kits too) is pretty loud and I feel it bounce too I hope the shocks didn't give out and that it's still under warranty. The only problem is I can't have my car out of commission lol I'm going to tonys house to borrow his tools and check I everything is in place later this week.

I wonder if the shocks went out when you lifted the car to install the camber kit? Hopefully it's your springs not being seated correctly, which use to happen to one of my cars everytime I jacked it up.

Hey, does anyone here have the HTSpec Type 1 coilovers from Heeltoe? I'd like to know how firm the suspension is compared to what I have now.

i have function/form type 1 coilovers which are basically the same thing:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/ht-spec-tuning-function-form-type-2-damper-tl-specific-application-771156/

they are non-adjustable dampening but the ride is very smooth just the way they are. they minimize body roll significantly and are comfortable when street driving, so not really firm or "harsh" at all. FYI ive taken my car to the track, mountain runs, and it is also my daily driver. no complaints here. another plus is that they are very slammable since they have the threaded shock body if you are looking for slammage lol

i used to have H&R race springs on stock shocks and the ride feels more comfortable street driving and more firm during aggressive driving with the function/form coils.

@kevin I just installed my SPC front camber kit and i havent noticed any sounds. good luck finding the source and i hope it isnt too serious

Thanks, I did read that. I saw that HT is having a sale/groupbuy. But I'm concerned that the type 1 might be firmer than what I'm used to now and may not like it. It would be great if I could take a test ride before I make my decision.

Damn Odyssey transmission took a dump! I think its even more fragile than the TL tranny! Whats up with Honda not being able to design a decent auto for the V6? sending out to new york for a rebuilt off of e-bay + 500 for my indy mechanic to swap out

My 04 TL Transmission was troublefree for 105,000mi before I sold it, never gave me any kind of problems with shifting / slippage (Then again, I did religious service on it including 3rd / 4th gear pressure switches / 15,000mi transmission fluid changes). I guess some owners are / weren't so lucky?

My 2G TL on the other hand was not so lucky. The car shifted from 5th to 1st at roughly 50mph and almost got me into a huge accident. Thankfully it was 10pm at night on a quiet side street. The 2Gs were notorious for awful transmissions ..

From this point forward, I will only purchase MT with Honda if I'm looking at V6s. 4 bangers don't seem to have any kind of transmission issues

Also, if anybody is interested ... there's a Tacos & Tuners meet going on tonight in Encinitas / Carlsbad area (Right off El Camino Real). All makes / models are welcomed! Quite a few S2000s / RSXs and a couple beamers last time. I'll be there at around 8 or 8:30pm ..

If you're interested, shoot me a PM!

Yeah idk what to do about the noise I'm thinking about runnin it down to he alignment shop to have them see if they can figure out what's wrong with it, it's driving me crazy.

@Kevin - I took it to tony's to check it out the other day and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.

Btw I'm going to be making a fiber glass splitter for the type-s bumper this Saturday I'm pretty excited I hope it turns out nice.

KN, I have my stock suspension sitting in the garage if you need to borrow it. Also, don't forget to post some pics on your project.
