What's San Diego TL owners. I'm new to this forum and new to the Acura comunity but loving it so far. I'm trying to hook my 05 TL up and really don't know where to start now. I talked to Ron Jon but he isn't making his kit for my generation of TL anymore. Anyone here know where I can pick one up on the low?

How do you feel about the a-spec kit? Looks cleaner than Ron Jon and really compliments any kind of wheels you throw at it.

Don't forget the drop

I agree that tint or a drop are two great starting points for mods to the TL. Then a nice set of wheels or for performance I recommend a j-pipe instead of the usual CAI. As for the lip kit, I like the a-spec kit.

Thanks for all of the input. I've scheduled an appointment to get the windows blacked out. I would like to drop it next and then rims. What's a good drop cause I was thinking 1.5" also whats the biggest you would go with rim size cause I was thinking 19's with 35's on them.

why drop before tints? I would think tints would be easier for him to start with while waiting for parts to come in.

thats true, but i think if you were going to have one or the other to choose from i would start with the drop, just because a drop will be the most drastic change. which if you want help doing your drop im willing to help do it

Funny story, I was driving home from class yesterday and I passed by sm1lez on the freeway (the one with the silver CL who has shown up at our meets in the past). I tried to wave but I then noticed he was asleep in the passenger seat with his GF driving

Yo Tommy, not sure if you knew, but it's pancit. I love the food at Barona. Maybe that would be a great place to have our next meet.

The road on the way to Barona would be a nice drive up. Only that there are so many people headed to Barona and the traffic doesn't always allow for a spirited drive up there. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to meet up before driving up there.
