Yes Keyes Acura is closing I have mixed feelings about these people because in some ways they were good and other ways (service dept) they suck.

I was told by someone at the dealership that Center of Center BMW fame is going to take over the Acura Franchise and it will move down Van Nuys Blvd to Magnolia across the street from Center BMW.

I've had fairly good dealings with Santa Monica Acura. But that's because my car's certified. I've read nothing but horror stories for those who are out of warranty and go there for car service. Not looking forward to that day, if ever that day comes.

 

I've always had bad experience with Keyes dealerships in general. They are shady IMO. Center is not that much better, when I was buying an M Coupe back in '99 they wouldn't give me the time of day. I ended up buying one from a BMW dealer in Thousand Oaks.

Same here. They're the worst dealerships from my experience.

 

they havnt closed yet, they dont have an exact date. i just bought some atf from em for 7.03/qt it was originally 12.43 or something like that. they must be knockin prices down as like a goin out of busniess sell(unofficial) if you need anything from the parts dept. u might want to go check out and see if they can give you a deal.

 

Yeah I was there yesterday asking about discounted parts they said they had to extend the closing date maybe up to a month because Keyes European is moving to that location and they aren't ready yet.

 

I just went by there today (had 09 TSX rear brake pads replaced again) and was told its happening within the next 2 weeks. Apparently all the customer data will be transferred to Center Acura. They showroom was quite sparce today, but they have always treated me quite well.

It seems most Keyes dealerships are closing not just Acura.

 

Keyes is the WORST Acura dealer in all of Socal.... I guess you reap what you sow.

As of yesterday its done everything is now moved to Center Acura. Hopefully Center will do a better job than Keyes.

 

I know it maybe a bit of a drive for some of you guys, but I've always had good help over at Metro Acura in Montclair for major stuff like transmission replacements and all. All my maintenance, I go to my family mechanic who works at Gardena Honda. He'll do the work under the table.

 

How are parts prices? I drive by it everyday on the freeway.
