^ Congrats!

Played around with my bro's 7D w/Tamron 17-50 2.8 the other day. Camera felt big, maybe too big (that's what she said!) Felt unwieldy. I'm happy with the frame size of my D90. He also let Tim play with it a little while.

i am guessing that he did, when i tried to talk to him all he said was " no english". cops came and took everybody's statement. im pretty sure if he doesnt have insurance they would have took his ass to jail. i think its illegal to drive without insurance in CA.
and yes i did get a police report #, and i turned it in to my insurance.
pictures of the damage can be seen here:

quick question everyone ... looking to upgrade components to one of the following:

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1
MB Quart PCE 216
Image Dynamics CTX65CS

I'm looking for good sound quality/clarity, tight midbass, good highs from the tweeters but not harsh sounding ... also what amp would go well with these components??? I'm an audio noob ... i'm sorry

Johnson, out of the three I would go for Image Dynamics. Take a look at CDT Audio, I had them in an old car and they are known for their smooth midrange and tweeters. Their 6.5"s are so good that there were times when I've turn my sub off just to listen to the tightness of the bass. What is your budget? Their lower end line (still good) Neo or Euro Fits should do it for you.

As for amps, either the Alpine PDX or JL HDs.

i went w/ infinity reference for the center channel and infinity reference silk dome tweeters. it was cheap and sounds a lot better than stock. sounds a bit bright but i'm fine w/ that. upgrade was about 70ish and it's pretty much a simple solder or wire harness install. i also put some dynamat on the rear deck and it helped a bunch, especially w/ the rattles. bass is a lot tighter than w/o the dynamat but nowhere an aftermarket sub.

john, you didn't tell me about your sound system

looking good man. like Ive told JonSon, you've come a long way. I like the way you're working with the flash for these shots. my only thing is the headlights are dark. maybe play around with getting the lights to properly expose as you take the shot. like I did on our Eclipse:

in lightroom, what do i have to do to make the blue sky look more blue-ish?

and is there a way that will let me cut out the sky and change the saturation of the sky alone??
