Sorry. What happened?

 

I was making a left turn when the light turned red ( I couldnt go when it was yellow because oncoming traffic didnt stop). So when i turned, this ford explorer from the oncoming traffic decided to run the light, and hit me on the rear right, then proceeded to hit the girl behind me head on.

 

I hope you weren't hurt too bad and that everything works out.

well, my neck feels very stiff, my right shoulder is sore, and my entire lower back hurts.

yeah dude, but well shit happens, i just hope my car gets fixed soon.

 

well, the guy ran a redlight + that intersection has a camera, so the police said they have everything on tape.

You could've dealt directly with the other party's insurance company, but it's good you contacted yours.

 

well,
1. the guy came out of his car and said "no english"
2. police was on the scene in 20 seconds (there was a police officer @ a gas station @ the intersection).
3. So the police took my statement, his statement, also the girl behind me ( the guy hit me first then hit her head on)

I know your pain.. glad you're alright. I got in an accident on Christmas Eve.. car rammed into me from the back so hard it threw me forward and hit the car in front of me. Rear and Front end damage. Car got repaired and I got it back about a month later and all is well. The guy that hit me from behind gave false insurance information and he was driving with a revoked license. :/

yeah, the first thing i noticed is that my rims are fine. expensive rims to replace...... i checked SSR's website, $765 dollars per rim

yes cerritos so cal, and i went to Ma Dang Sae for lunch after the chiro visit.

 

Doctor said i pulled muscles around my waist, lower back seems to be a little fucked up, shoulders and neck seems ok for now. He also said that due to the accident, my right brain is a little slow, but it will recover without any hiccups.

 

why are your wheels so expensive? whats so great about them? they 5 lbs or something?

 

damn, glad your ok. hope everything works out. that damage to that quarter panel looks bad. Doesn't look like a total loss but that some bad damage to a rather difficult part on the car.

well my wheels are semi-forged SSR type F, @ 19x8 they weight 18.9 pounds each. so yeah, they are very nice wheels.

the damage doesnt look that bad in person, right now without looking at any structural damage im looking at 5300 dollars. with structural damage im looking at between 7 to 8.

the other party's insurance is going to be responsible, the guy ran a redlight and the police has the accident on tape (the intersection has a camera)

Aside: It looks like you've got all regular lugs in that last pic! I'd definitely get some locks if I had $800 wheels

 

yeah, those are "tuner lugs" that came with the wheels. i know ive got some 5zigen lugs laying around but i havent looked yet. Besides, if i didnt tell anyone, no one would know what they are (no caps and no stickers on the spokes to indicate what they are)

 

Doesn't seem worth the $800 a rim lol not for daily driving anyway

 

to each of his own. i'm a sports car guy, have had nothing but sports cars all my life. so lightweight rims = WIN for me. besides, i NEVER EVER pay retail for expensive car parts. Just gotta be patience and either wait for a good deal/find a good deal.

 

Hey, I'd be all about it if I got a good deal, but for $800 x 4 ? woo wee.. you wouldn't even have to worry about someone stealing them though, nobody that knows anything about that type of wheel steals wheels haha

 

Dont wory mate, You have no injuries thats a good news! Look at the bright side... its oportunity to install sport rear bumper I know what Im talking about because i crushed my rear to the long front stairs in my company - thats why I started with sport bumpers Good luck!
