I look only as far as Yelp, and so far all of them are unreliable or people trying to make a quick buck.


So for anyone in the downtown LA area, do you guys know of any reliable modders or service mechanics that are willing to provide competent and quality labor if I provide the parts?

Check out Honcura in Glendale. I have no experience with them, but Yelp reviews seem to be mostly positive.

 

Does anyone know someone that could help with exhausts mods? I hope someone who has had past experience with a specific mechanic in mind could help me out, thanks.

just did a strut install and timing belt service at ae4 auto in el monte. couldnt speak more highly of them. a motor mount was broken and they trew in one they had lying around for free! plus when i went to pick up my whip they were working on supercharging a tl. lol they know what they are doing! check em out Dr. chieu. you wont regret it!

i second 4ae auto in south el monte, they put in a custom radiator (that was made for an accord), supercharger, meth kit, custom cai, relocated my battery, customized a gauge pod to fit in my car (originally from an accord), and the lists goes on.
cali2.5tl saw them working on my car.
they know what they're doing and make it a point to do it right

 

Anyone else have any suggestions?

I'm looking for different garages that can do exhaust pipe installations, electrical work with headlights/tail lights, basic repairs such as rear bumper replacements, tire/brake changes, and maybe even CAI installations.

I drive a 2007 TL-S.

 

Does anyone know a good place in the san gabriel area? I don't think 4ae auto is around anymore. I've called a couple of times and they are not picking up the phone.

I have a ported intake manifold I would like installed on my 2005 TL. Thanks.

 

I know a shop in the city of carson. They do awesome work for cheap price. They are very well known in the g community.

a4e is still around great people. they are fair in price.. they worked on my tl s/c and other cars. they just painted my civic few weeks ago.
