I have a 02 Tl that I am doing a engine swap for 02 Tl type S engine do I need the ecu and the complete harness or I cam use my old harness

 

ecu and engine harness or at least the pigtails for both sides. i have a 2g auto harness for j32a2 if your int, but its not gonna be fully plug and play to a j32a1 chassis.

 

Better check to see if your ECU is tied to the key and security system (immobilizer). I believe it is. So you''ll have to get your keys programmed to the new ecu. Also the programmed VIN will change. The ecu's are either Federal or California emissions. You should make sure they match.

Yes. unless you want to do the ghetto immob chip removal and have the check engine light on permanently. it's a theft prevention device, so its there for a reason.

 

hello can anyone help i did a swap on my 01 acura TL to 02 TL type S engine i ran into a small problem, the harness to the outer throttle body that plug into those two other plugs is not on the harness that runs along the driver's side fender, does anyone have any information on how to wire up those two other plugs to the 2nd throttle body, thanks
