Added a cheap urethane STI splitter. Did a test fit before paint and left it on.

What offset did you go with? Thinking about these wheels or the Enkei TS-10. Car looks dope.

I didn't plan on a progress thread, but I guess this is it!
I followed usdmJON (https://acurazine.com/forums/acura-i.../#post15734363) for the LED fogs and STI splitter thank you for the tips.

Thank you.
Offset is 45 and they don't come in polished

Rolled some body up out of the way only to find I may need to trim the bumper bar a little to get duals in there. Shot the underside of the floor pan with Boom Mat to shield some of the heat.

So it begins

The 4" oval is to make the crossover, no Y's allowed.
It's been a few years since I welded, so a little re-learning curve ahead and I going MIG gasless with Blue Demon 308LFC-O. It's all going to be wrapped so my learning curve won't show. Gotta control the heat because her belly will be skinned.

Looking good. The hard part will be making the trim go back in and look right.

How do you plan to reapply the black trim?

I don't plan on cutting the trim until it's much closer to complete, but it's held on by clips that slip into the 7 slots at the perimeter and one screw thru the little hole to the right.

Thank you. Need to mount the tips and route the tail pipes. I just wanted to make sure everything lined correctly and see if the picture of the mind's eye was accurate.
Up front I put a Stainless Works 3" (2.5" thru) so in the quiet setting it's the same volume as stock, just deeper (while dumping under body)

I was under the hood today and saw that a simple snorkel removal would change the intake from under hood to cold air

Nah, it's still a Honda tune. Changing the filter stopped the cackle on decompression so it's probably on the lean side.

Did some interior lighting today. Bought a few of these
Amazon Amazon
For the footwells I cut them down to six LEDs each, using velcro to attach under the seat for rear and used full 18 in trunk. Ice Blue BBY

I used a Gesswein BH-60 brushless type rotary handpiece with a high speed burr then sealed gap with clear RTV silicone.
I got this when polishing the wheels and it comes in very handy

I had the dust shields in before and thought I'd try these. Thought about big brakes, but I don't need them, it's just a Civic.
