I came across these online, look pretty legit on this Silver TL, but no pics with the brakes applied, I have a silver TL as well and looking to do some modest mods, thought I might start here. Any thoughts?

For these tail lights, you will need to get red turn signal bulbs in order for them to glow red. The brake lights are already red I believe, so you're good there, but the turn signals will blink white if you don't change them. Here is the original thread on these if you care to read up on them.
"Ghost" or all clear tail lights look a bit too bland for me.
I like how my tail lights are, but I wish Acura did the 07/08 base tails differently.
Instead of using a all clear lens with a red bezel inside, I wish they did a red lens with clear plastic areas.
Such as this MB and almost every other car out there (corolla too) - red lens, clear plastic areas.
The red internal bezel on 07/08 tail lights look so pink compared to every car on the road.
A good thing about our all clear lens is the ability to mod them, though.

Back to the 90s?! I had clear taillights on my old 98 Accord and they were like the Altezza taillights, came and went. It was really hard to see the brake lights also in very bright sunlight, even with bright ass PIAA red bulbs.
They use the same LED board as your OEM tail lights, so don't worry about brightness when braking or for use at night. I assure you that these suckers will glow perfectly fine through clear tail lights. The bulb that needs to be changed is the turn signal bulb. The OEM bulb is a clear filament style bulb that only appears/shines red, because the OEM tail light covers are red. Once you put clear covers in place, the filament bulb will only shine like a normal light bulb (white/slight yellow), so this will need to be switched with either an aftermarket amber or red bulb. When you buy the USR tail light covers, they give you an amber filament-style bulb to use in place of the OEM bulb. Unfortunately, I think that this looks awful due to the fact that the bulb is actually amber colored itself. You will see a yellow splotch through your tail light covers. Like most people, I just bought two LED bulbs that shine red from eBay for just a few bucks.I haven't had any issues in over two years.
Yes, those are the ones I was looking at. So the tail/brake lights are LED right? But the corner turn signals are clear and I'd need to find red bulbs, that would most likely look pink.. Ugh. It is never easy.
Yes, the brake lights still use the OEM LED board. The corner turn signals are clear, but you do not need to buy a "pink" bulb. That would look hideous. Just buy an LED bulb like the one in the ebay link that I provided.
Modding isn't always easy, but you get what you put into it. If you cut corners, it will eventually show in your results, whatever the project may be. Even if it's as simple as changing a light bulb....
