Unique Style Racing - Official Matte Black / Clear 3G TL Tail Lights
Hello All,
This is the official Group Buy for the 2004-2008 Acura TL All Models' Matte Black Bezel / Clear Lens Tail Light set (left + right). This GB is for this black/clear style only, does not include Type-S style tail lights.
Special Intro Price!!!
We need minimum of 10 people to participate. Once we reach 10 people, those on the list will be given a coupon code to use on our site. The special GB price will be $139.95 /set + freight vs. $179.95 + freight normal price. So, let's get the GB started. If you can commit at the GB price, go ahead put your name on the list and write next to it your location in terms of the country as I know some of you are in Canada. So for example:
1. Screename, Model and Year, Location (Country)

It is ideal though to get new bulbs for signal light if you wish to light up red instead using the stock clear bulbs.

interested in these...i know they're for the 04-08 tl's, will it have a problem fitting an 07 type-s? what replacement bulbs would you recommend if i want to change mine out during the install? tia

The rear signal 7440 is the one I believe you want to change, to either RED or ORANGE for signal. You can consider LED 7440 bulbs, but not sure if that will give you error because of the low LED power draw. Anyway, the tail light is direct replacement of the stock on ALL 2004-2008 TL.

It's a direct fit on the 07 Type-S, plug and play, no modification needed.
The rear signal 7440 is the one I believe you want to change, to either RED or ORANGE for signal. You can consider LED 7440 bulbs, but not sure if that will give you error because of the low LED power draw. Anyway, the tail light is direct replacement of the stock on ALL 2004-2008 TL.

However, if we want to maintain an amber turn signal with these new lights, we need to get new amber bulbs, as the stock ones are clear going through the amber lens? It appears per your website, that the ones to get then would be "A pair of T20 7440 ChroMirror Amber Bulbs (+$9.95)" correct? Just want to make sure before I committ to this GB I know what else would be needed. Not a big deal, but just wanted to clarify.
What are the 7443 bulbs for?

Hi, sorry another stupid question/clarification. So on these new tailights, nothing needs to be done with the tailight light section of the new lens as the stock LED light is red and therefore the brake lights will still light up red when used with these new tailights correct?

For signal light, the factory includes clear transparent standard ones, so if you don't like that color, you obviously need to buy 7440 size bulbs to replace the signal light bulb. The "A pair of T20 7440 ChroMirror Amber Bulbs (+$9.95)" you select would be the correct one so the light stays clear while you have amber signal output.
7443 is a dual filament bulbs while 7440 is a single filament. TL uses 7440, not 7443 for the rear signal light.

There is a drop down so you can choose 3 versions that we carry.
But this GB is for the Matte Black / Clear version only.
