Which intake do you prefer?

I'm having trouble choosing an intake. I like the ease of installing a short ram intake but I hear that the cold air intake works better. I do not want water to get into my engine however. Any ideas or good deals online for a good intake system I can order? Thanks.

I have one in the fs section. It is a mid ram intake. In between a short ram and a cai no need to worry about hydrolocking

AEM v2. As long as you aren't driving through 12" of water you'll be fine.

That's the same size as a short ram intake though.

I've had a K & N typhoon intake for 3 years now and love it. Never had a problem with water.

If you cut the piping at the intake resonator, you pretty much have a cold-air setup that feeds air right above the wheel arch.

Depends what you are looking for. If you want to hear more engine noise, then any of the CAI will work. They do look pretty when you open your hood. That's about all these CAI do.
