AEM Dual Chamber Intake System For Base TL

So I'm just looking for a quick an easy mod that I can do myself that will help with my old engine's performance and I was thinking of an intake mod and so far I've heard great things about AEM V2 Dual Chamber Intake.

Free Shipping To Canada And Usa For Aem 24-6016c Dual Chamber Intake System Gunmetal Grey | Tdot Performance

Has anybody put this intake in their cars? Does it make a noticeable difference compared to other intakes or is the Dual Chamber system just a gimmick?
(I know it's expensive here the Canadian dollar is getting shat on right now. Thanks US )

We offer the AEM V2 intake as well. It will provide 5-10 horsepower, but don't expect it to throw you back in your seat. You'll most likely need several other bolt ons before you feel the car is noticeably quicker. We also offer exhaust components, engine pulleys, and more right on our website.

If you're completely stock, it won't make any real power. It might make some measurable power in conjunction with other mods.

But the V2 intake sounds really mean. I wish they made it for the Type S.

Yeah I plan on adding other mod's one at a time when I can (and if I have the money). This just seems like an easy one to start off with before I move on to something more intermediate like a full header back exhaust. The main purpose of this post is how does the AEM V2 intake compare to other cold air intakes. Does the Dual Chamber design actually work better than a standard Cold air intake?

Yes, there's no question that it's the best intake in the market for the TL-P. You can argue that it might not be worth the extra $$, but there's definitely nothing better than the V2.
