haha yea man was like 185 or something after a review discount....but COMPLETELY worth it in my mind. it's not worth that much for most people but for me it changed the shifting experience. i also added a special powdercoat so technically it could have been $40 cheaper but i really like the special powdercoat they have
my shift knob is 635 grams (50% heavier than my skunk2 knob) and i also purchased a shift boot adapter so it looks seamless/oem...the leather boot now goes straight to the knob no collar. looks sweet imo. the ergonomics is much better than any other shifter i've felt/seen too
without the powdercoat and boot adapter i coiuld have saved $55, and then i could have saved $30 more if i didn't get the gate pattern machined in...but those were all things i had to have and i haven't had one regret since buying it haha
that maven knob is pretty sweet too tho! similar shape

Haha, well I mean yeah, if I was gonna do it I would want all that too probably, go big or go home!!
Window visors showed up today, but its raining all weekend so I won't be able to actually do shit. The shift knob will be here monday though, at which point I'll probably install it and the CT short shifter (FINALLY)

The plate has grown on me, for now it'll likely stay the way it is. I thought about the pull out plate, but it would be pulled out 98% of the time anyway, so whats the point. Plus, I like that this is a bit different, I've been playing with the adjustments and found where I like it for now
Yes! Trust me my car looked like shit compared to Shotta, after like 20 days of straight rain and the drive up to philly, it was nasty. It hasn't been washed in forever
BUT
I did throw on my window visors and new shift knob! No pics of the knob yet tho. This is like the 500th time I've done window visors so its nothing too new, but I still love them.

Its been a while guys!
No new updates for now, except that I'm pretty sure I have a sticky caliper on the back Driver's side. Got in the car and noticed a metallic whirring, gets worse when I brake and doesn't go away with acceleration. Its weird because I never heard it before, it just started on Monday. Its pretty loud and highly embarrassing!
Got a lot of stuff going on at the moment, but I may tackle it this weekend. Trying to decide if I should just go with new pads rotors and calipers for both rear wheels, or just replace what is bad for now. Sucks cause the pads are fine, but I'll probably swap out the rotor and caliper for now, and then upgrade the whole brake setup package later on with Centrics.
Also might be in the market for another car. My first car was a 94 Acura Legend GS, which I absolutely loved although it was in kind of rough shape by the time I got it in 2007 or so. I've recently come across one that seems like its in awesome shape, and its such a classic, I would love to pick it up as a daily driver since I currently don't really have a second car (sold the corolla I had).
Its also a 94, also a GS which is the top of the line, and has had most of the motor rebuilt with new headgaskets and timing belt, as well as new leather and paint (was repainted NBP). I'm excited to see it!

GS with MT? I almost bought a 94 LS MT coupe back in 2009. My first car was a 91 LS MT.

Hahaha, forget the kids and the wife! lol jk
Honestly, for me its I just want all the cars. Not just a TL, not just a Legend, not just a lexus or a Bmw, but all of them.I get bored fast, and jump from car to car for the thrill of it.
I love the TL, which is why I keep coming back to it. I think to actually be perfectly happy with it, i have to also have another car to drive on a daily basis.

Sorry its been so long since I've updated the thread. I've been real busy with some family and other stuff going on lately.
The car is in the shop getting the front end resprayed. Everything including the front doors are being redone and blended. Its going to look amazing.
All this as a result of my being a dumbass. I bumped into someone at less than 10 MPH, damaging the driver side headlight. Decided to go ahead and replace that and have the whole front end resprayed to freshen it up. Its so hard to love a car.
I'll post updates soon enough.

Yup! I've been keeping up with your thread here and there, hope you got it all worked out by now. I just haven't been in the mood to be that active on the forum lately. I haven't had the car for two weeks now which has sucked. I barely remember what it feels like to drive it since I've been driving a borrowed 2007 Avalon (it's like sitting on your couch driving and not in a good way).
Silver linings though, the car should be perfect when its done. Even though I got the PDR done months ago and it was damn near perfect, I'm happy to have a fresh new front end instead of only the bumper. They'll also be buffing the whole car and I'm looking at what else I may want to get done at the same time.

Glad to hear you getting that sorted, man...
that started they sent me was NEW genuine honda stock and it would not disengage the flywheel...made a horrid noise so we put the old one back in.
Got AC back...getting there, the car is running very strong though and still looks great overall.
