2010 TSX throttle jerking after fast turn
Previously my 2010 TSX 6sp had the CHECK EMISSION warning light come on and the car would not respond to throttle after a fast on ramp (100km/hr, 60mph). The Check Emission light went off after about 800 kms of driving.
I drove on another onramp at about 100km/hr (60mph) again and this time the EMISSION light DID NOT come on, but the throttle of the car started jerking and I had to put the tranny into neutral while i restarted the car in gear.
I've spoken to an acura tech and they told me to bring the car in (i work 6-7 days a week, so haven't had time to goto acura yet), but will bring the car in soon.
Has anyone else had this happen before???

so you never had the check emission problem resolved? you just kinda let it work itself out? could have stemmed to this issue, since it seems your process to fix it was the same. i have no idea what this could be, hopefully they can give you a loaner quickly and work with your schedule to make everything work. the only logical thing i can think of with my limited knowledge of cars would be that maybe there is a sort of clog in your pipes. if your exhaust system has soot/gunk/whatever piled on the walls, it could reduce flow, maybe causing a build up in/around the cat which would probably trigger the check emissions light, and maybe causes the engine to get backed up. from my understanding, valves work on a 4/5 step system, part of which is exhaust which creates a vacuum to suck in the gas/air mixture. so if exhaust is exiting slower than usual, it could be taking longer to exit the cylinder, or not fully exiting, and combining or slowing the gas/air mixture, and eventually the buildup causes the valves to seize/stutter because the plug can't ignite exhaust fumes. but when you neutral and restart the engine, the pipes have some time to clear. i dunno how to account for it happening after high speed turns though.
sorry if my post was just full of BS(it really was, im thinking of the engine kind of like the vascular system lmao), and a waste of time reading. seems like a plausible idea to me though =P
