Funny story.
I had a GPS. A good one. I had a meeting to go to in Manhattan one day. So I input the address for example: 300 E. 54th St NY, NY. The fucking GPS takes me to 300 E. 54th St in FUCKING BROOKLYN! By now I have 30 min to be to get to the hotel, drop off the car and get to my meeting down the street. Unbeknownst to me I had to put the address as 300 E. 54th St, MANHATTAN, NY. Once I got on the island my GPS went nuts because of all the buildings and shit, but I got my bearings and managed to make it there without it. Got to my meeting 45 min late, and wasn't happy.
What I learned:
~Don't depend on technology.
~New York City is in Brooklyn (there are lots of Jews there too, in their traditional Jew attire, it was funny because my friend was with me who is Jewish and I asked him if he felt like he was back in the motherland)
~Manhattan is just another city in NY.
~Don't depend on New Yorkers for directions, they'll keep on walking.
~Drive AGGRESSIVE AS FUCK, or you'll get run over (no problem for me).
EDIT: Forgot one thing:
~It's acceptable to the NYPD to do 80 on Parkways.
~New Castles cost $9.00
~Burgers are $45.99....no fries.

I was pretty proud of me too, lol. And my ex was surprised as fuck when I was standing on the corner waiting for her at the exact time we were supposed to meet, lol. She thought I was going to get lost for sure. It was just one train though so it was pretty easy.
