i think that would be too thick and would be tougher to cut cleanly around.

I'm looking at a GS 300 and an RX 300 tomorrow. Checked them both out last night. The GS is an 01 and has ~116,000 miles. Silver with black leather and navi.

The RX 300 is an 02 and is the same silver with black leather and navi. it has ~136,000 miles on it.

The asking price for the GS is 8900 and the RX is 9900.

So I took my dad's truck to be inspected and it failed.

It needs brakes all around and it also needs to have its ball joints (upper & lower replaced). Also on the passenger's side, the universal joints need to be replaced.

The guy quote the brake job at $800!!!!!!! WTF!!!!! I just went and got the pads, c-clamp, and grease for <$80.

Then he quote me $1000 to replace all of the ball joints wtf???? Am I seeing and understanding this correctly wtf!?

Where is Erik I need his opinion on this shit.

My dad is going to do the brakes himself since it is only pads. It shouldn't take him too long.

GS 300s are soooooooo nice. They ride amazingly smooth. I want one. My sister in Atlanta has hers still, it was the first car I drove.

I think Florida has something like 97 different plates to choose from.

I like the first one too Harry, I think that is the one I'm gonna go with.

I HATE my plate now. Everyone asks me what it says and it's not a vanity plate, lol. Annoys the fuck out of me.
