I was considering doing a few things, but seems like a ton of work and probably not worth that hassle.

kinda sorta, but it's more that im building a car for myself that i can put into shows. it's not going to be a trailor queen though. daily driven show material if that makes sense.

Pretty much. There is no point in tripling the distance air has to travel to reach the throttlebody.

the front looks easy, the rear might be a problem. I'd also clear coat it. Kind of want to see yours first before I go ahead and do this. Also dont want it to look fake/ricey. I also considered doing some of my engine plastics. idk how it holds up to heat though.

All of the DIY's I've seen say to use a lot of heat, and to start in the middle and work your way to the outer edges. I'm not to worried about it looking fake because it will be layed on pretty small areas. I decided I'm not doing to do the area around the plate becasue I don't want to over do it.

Dead serious. Two actually. First one was a male Mallard that my sister killed by leaving it in the pool (it was a baby and it drowned because it couldn't get out), second one was a female Mallard like the pic. She used to sleep in the house and would follow me around everywhere like a dog.
