I applied there after transferring from SUNY Oneonta in 2005(ish). They told me two weeks prior to the start date of classes that my application had been lost, then found and they wanted to grant me admission. I had already been accepted elsewhere.

So to answer your question; no I do not go there lol...but I always regret not following up on that application sooner. Do you like it so far?

LOL.... Yea it's great so far.... The teachers, advisors, etc. are all really helpful and friendly people..... But the curriculum is no joke I must admit. I'm in my major courses already and they're not easy at all.... All these economics, accounting and business classes are brutal, but I'm getting through it.... Hopefully....

I graduated in 09 with a Finance degree. Most of the classes are easy. Econometrics was crazy though (ECO4000).

The math....I refused to pay 120+ for the calculus book and bought a $20 Calculus for dummies book lol

LOL..... Nah bro I take the subway.... There's no parking like you said and people in Manhattan have no mercy on people's bumpers lol. My car is nice and clean right now and I want to keep it that way.... I'm not spending another $300 on painting my bumper again lol.... Besides, I just drive my car on the weekends, it's not really a daily driver because it's so low....

i got TL-S rims on mine so its got some acura soul in there somewhere...

what you guys planning on majoring in? (or already declared in?) when i first transferred, i thought accounting.. but when i got in like 75% of the school is doing it and im taking my first accounting class (2101) and either the subject isnt right for me or my prof is bad.. (i have tinker). hes a VERY easy professor but the way he teaches confuses the crap outta me. i just read the textbook. online final this year. woohoo! im probably majoring in CIS right now..

Wow sounds like me when I went there.

I was planning to major in accounting also, but had tinker for the first accounting class. I kept falling asleep Bcs hes so boring and makes the class harder than it should be Bcs he doesn't teach it properly.

Most of the accounting (and economics) prof in Baruch suck

I decided to major in marketing. Nice and knowledgeable professors and the major seems to be easier than the others.

I was also thinking about majoring in accounting but when I found out the specifics of accounting I decided not to (ex: 154 credits to graduate, CPA exam, etc...). If I would've pursued accounting, I would be basically graduating in Fall 2013 as opposed to Spring 2012 as I will be majoring in Business Management (only 124 credits to graduate). I'm SICK of school already so I took the shorter route. Hopefully I land a nice simple job at a bank or something of the sort. I'll be happy with that.

I don't think there is a parking lot in Baruch.... And it's extremely hard to find parking around the school ....

Hmm lunch meetup... Sounds interesting.... Let's do it!

What's your schedule like? I've worked fulltime and went to Baruch fulltime for a few semesters. I refused to take the train to the city so I always managed to find a spot or at least worked on minimizing my time on the train/bus. You have to really learn the timing of the street cleaning. You'll probably have to worry about your bumper as much as anywhere else. I parked on this block in SI that had enough space for 15 cars and yet someone still managed to back in to me. Luckily only the plate was slightly bent.

I do miss being in the city...now I commute to buttfk NJ. =/

I go to school three times a week and I'm not really thrilled with the idea of taking my car to school.....

My car has clean bumpers and I want to keep it that way.

But like I mentioned before, I really only use my car on the weekends, and I really don't mind taking the subway, for the sake of keeping my car clean....
