I wish we could have the choice to pump our own gas or wait for the attendant. Sometimes it's just busy as hell and I'd be faster pumping my own.

ZERO incentive for them to hurry at all.

Sometimes you get a gas attendant who doesn't exactly speak proper English or is just an idiot, you end up with regular even though you specifically say PREMIUM.

Some times i get good guys that do the right job, others i watch like a hawk to make sure premium is going into the tank. Ive even had a couple guys bust out a rag to make sure no gas dripps on the side when they take the hose out.

So i havnt been on the Oregon Chat much....but soon ill hopefully have a couple new parts ive found on the BM. Like i said...hopefully.

Where in Anaheim Hills did you live? I used to live in Anaheim and worked in Orange for awhile. I had lots of friends that lived in Anaheim Hills.
Haha, I've never been in traffic up in Oregon, just in downtown portland. The thing I like about it there is it's actually a rush hour, here it's just whenever/wherever. That's also awful that they are worst drivers, I want to shoot everyone out here already as it is.

I'm just off of Weir Canyon, near Toyon Park. Did you get sick of Cali and go to Oregon? Or did you transfer for work?

I also hate not being able to pump my own gas, whenever I go to Oregon it kills me!!

I like the gas stations that have pumps for credit card users and others that want to pay cash. I have pulled in stations that have a car at each pump-alot with no driver-They are inside the store-prepaying, buying goodies, or whatever. I usually pick that pump.

I had a gas attendent literally ram the the side of my car with the nozzle. I guess he felt the only way to make sure the nozzle made it to the hole was to slam it as hard as possible, at which point he missed and hit my quarterpanel just above the little drawer.

Probably has that problem with his g/f alot to....

I always watch the attendant to make SURE they put premium. I've caught a bunch of them not paying attention, and yell out, "Hey, I said PREMIUM!", when they push the wrong button.

At the time, I was dating a girl from Oregon. She moved down to Cali and we got married in Anaheim, but after our first child, she got homesick and I transferred to an R&D facility in Portland. We've been here since 1993.

I miss my family - they're still in So Cal, but I wouldn't want to raise my kids there. Schools here are good, they're involved in lots of great things here, and it's not a dog-eat-dog mentality wherever you go, like in So Cal. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect here, but there are problems everywhere you go. I'm happy here.

hey oregon, i've came down to two options on springs and need your opinions... for springs and springs only; which one should i get? tein s tech. from ebay for $180.99 shipped or eibach pro kit from tire rack for 205.41 shipped(my price)
i know most of you guys would say go eibach but its only a 1 inch drop... the teins are 1.2 1.4?? i'm leaning towards the eibach myself cause i've always had good experience with them in the past. just wondering if you can really tell if the vehicle is lowered with a 1 inch drop.

Both are great companies.. I am not sure on the stiffness between the 2.. also are you going to plan to add adjustable shocks later on? I know koni you can adjust the height on the shock too so that will lower your car as well.. so i guess you gotta ask yourself in the long run how low do you wanna go?

anything over a 1" drop you'll want to get dampers eventually, or rather quickly really as your stockies will start to give you trouble. Both companies are reputable.

No no no...

Its the fiber glass one. Apparently the guy has had it but never painted it, then totalled his car before install so he has no need for it.

Id like to mold this one though.

you're finding great deals in bm for sure. volks, atlp pipes, and now csl spoiler. eagle eye??

you def gotta mold the csl. doesn't really look good if its stuck on the trunk with double sided tapes.

Yea guy is being shady though. Messaged me today saying hes gonna wait untill the money tranfers into his bank account before he ships...

Which anyone that has ever used paypal before knows there is no need to do this. I swear if i get screwed over again in the BM, all the cool shit ive found wont be as cool anymore.

I got all mine from the shop that did my car when it got rear ended. Thanks to the person that left the box in my car...weeee

-----------------

So on a non car note.

Been looking into using my VA loan on a getting a house while the prices are low. Been looking at houses out around Oregon City since the girlfriend is getting transfered out there next monday. Best part is, for the price we want to pay we can get a 4 bed 2-3 bath. Also big perk with most of these houses is......Garages/Shops in the back yard. Ive wanted a detached garage/shop where i live for a long long time.

Now its back to the job search so i can pay the mortgage payments.

Threw out a couple resumes last night, and already got a call for a interview on friday.

back seat helps alot and the doors next. dynamat below rear bench and front two doors should change some noise level. also door shuts with better thud after the dynamat.

Dynamat is on the spendy side. You can get more bang for the buck if you go with companys such as secondskin, rammat, and edead. I deadened the entire rsx with Edead v1se, teklite, and V3 for around $300. That was 2 layers plus the teklite on top. The V3 was pasted onto the inside of the plastic door panels. The was pretty quiet afterwards.

PICS!! my old install

Check elementaldesigns for info on thier site.
