learned some new stuffs on cars today...
when header gets heated up, it causes the unburnt gas in the exhaust fume to detonate before reaching the cat. so what people here is air whooshing sound what actually is an exhaust detonation.

this makes sense since richie's precat deletes is just a straight pipe acting as a header and when this thing gets heated up, it detonates unfiltered exhaust gas creating air whooshing sound. so unless if i put the cats back on, i'll continually here the air leaking sound.

My job is brutal

Interesting about the headers, I never knew that, I just assumed it was the flexpipe getting torqued around a bit.

Welcome to Michael921.

If everyone was on here that was at the Wash. Square meet last year we'd have at least 15 people on here posting but half of them have disappeared

went to exhaust shop and cut out the old tanabe resonator and slapped on longer one for $80 installed. my original plan was to put a smaller resonator along with the tanabe and hear the difference but shop was out of stock on smaller ones.

result is drone is gone. inside is oem quiet. along with drone, loud humming that vibrated into the cabin is gone too. bad thing is, this resonator increased the restriction while quieting down. it doesn't rev like before but definitely gained some low-end torque back. now i might put the atlp race pipe back on and see if it'll rev more freely.

if i don't like any combination at the end, i'll go back to oem precats + atlp jpipe+atlp race pipe and gut out secondary oem resonator.

Good luck with your set-up.

True true, im going for the "baller" status i guess. Big chrome 19s and scraping the ground means no need for manual trans.

Exactly...if i were to stand infront of any one of the buildings and take a picture of people it would be fine. Yet somehow a parked car next to a wall is bad. I hate rent-o-dickhead-cops. Never before have i had a problem at Bridgeport. Ive even asked security if i could take pics before just because it was around 130am and i didnt want them thinking i was there causing trouble.

I'll start getting my ready now. It was a good time. Funny how if I want to to bridgeport and blow some cash it's completely public but if I want to take a picture of a concrete wall it's illegal and "no part of bridgeport is public property" that guy was a loser.

Thank you, my wheels were formerly Min's wheels lol. I'd like to eventually pick up a set of TE37's but we'll see....need to go lower first. H-Techs were great at first but now I want to go lower, especially when Kyle's makes mine look like a 4x4

EuroR08 - I think I'm going to pick up some Tanabe S-OC's for my xmas gift to myself. Maybe Speed would cut me a deal better than heeltoe????? maybe?????? lol

ABP1TSX - My wheels are 17's, the TL-S wheels have a different offset I believe than the OEM TSX wheels, and the sidewall may be a lil taller making the car overall look lower as an illusion???

bluecarbonfiber - that sucks! fecking stupid ass teenagers!!!!!!

i previously bought my tanabes from speed concept. much better pricing than heeltoe and it wasn't backordered. took only a week to get it in. but tanabe might have incresed there price too like tein. check to see if tanabe makes coilovers that are compatible with teas. i think teas is much better than edfc.
