Hello -- not to hijack the b-day wishes, but looking for some advice...
I'm considering a move to Sacramento for my job. I'm interested in any thoughts from people in the area.
Is this a nice place to live?
What are the good areas ~ is Folsom a nice area? Antelope? Etc...
What is commuting like out there -- the job would be in West Sac
How bad is the cost of living?
Anything else I should know/consider?

From what i know, it's not a bad place to live, i know its a bit boring from time to time for a teenager, but other than that i love it. Folsom is a pretty nice area and is relatively new. Natomas, which is close to West Sac, is pretty reasonably priced, although there are a few things that I dont like about it. The houses are pretty close together and the streets are narrow. There have also been new housing developments in West Sac which are quite nice. You might want to check those out as well as Elk Grove/Laguna area

Yeah good call, Oak Park, Meadowview, as well as some parts of Rio Linda. But i must say, behind these crappy area's are some damn nice houses!

I've been out of the loop lately, are the T1Rs an upgrade over the T1Ss?? I've seen the ads in car mags but couldn't tell. How mucho??
