With stock it would be better since you want more room to do the work, if turning the wheels wont be enough then we will have to take them off. Mondays after 2 work best for me but let me know when your free cause we can do this anytime between 2-5 tus-thur too
But it takes the bus 30 minutes to take me to work cause they don't drive a straight shot.
I get a free bus pass from sac state. I take the light rail to the campus too.

I'm thinking about just keeping the CL. Maybe only drive it around on the weekends or when I feel like starting her up.
I also try to look for corner or end spots but never end of the aisle spots. I've seen cars get clipped on a turn.
You should come out to the sac state meet next month. Check out you're old stomping grounds. It might rekindle your love for the CL to meet another CL owner and just shoot the breeze about our cars.
between 2-5 on tuesday or thursday works for me, my class at CSUS ends at 1:15. i'll text you which day i can show up!
tired of commuting in my elantra
If anybody has a 04 thru 08 tl and wants to add an Aspec kit I can help you. No charge.
Sometimes installing parts for the 1st time and no help kinda sucks. You must live in the
sac area. Just throwing it out there. Rich

Just noticed it's the 15th. That means I'll be busy cleaning up.

Went to TnT auto body to try to get a quote for my front TL lip to go on my CL. They really looked like they didn't want to do it despite me printing out a DIY for them, prepping and cutting the lip for them, and even printing out pictures of how it should look. Anyone know of a body shop who would do this or anyone who would like to help me out? I can't do it at sac state (I live in the dorms).

Yup Gary did his and it looks good I'm trying to get him to do a full kit.
Also for Body Shop hit up Diamond Auto Body. I would say QT but I havent been there in a while and don't even kno if it's still there.

I bet if you called around, you can find a locksmith that will do it.
Worse comes to worse, you can have someone cut it for cheap and then program it yourself. I think there are instructions on here for it.
Have you thought of buying a blank from ebay then having someone cut/program it? The dealership might do it. But I know there are local places that will cut/program car keys with an immobilizer chip installed. Heck, I've seen it advertised at the local Ace hardware on Florin and Riverside.

but I'll check back soon about your recommendations. Thanks again Rich
Might be pulling a trigger on a new car soon!
Well it's for my mom but I'll get to drive it. No way was I going to trade in my CL. Pics will be up once it's sitting in the garage.

Hey fellow AZers, does anyone know of any shops or people that roll fenders? My fenders are actually rolled already, but there's just one section where the rear quarter panel meets the bumper that either needs to be rolled or shaved down, or possibility even pulled slightly. Preferably in Sac, since I just moved up to Davis for school.
Sounds like the bumper tab. People usually shave that part then relocate the screw further back. You can take a dremel to it if you want to DIY. I think there are rolling services on craigslist.
I forgot to mention that the bumper tabs are already trimmed, pretty far actually haha. But thank you, I'll browse around craigslist
So I drove a raptor today. Pretty nice truck. The auto show is this weekend in sac I would love to go, but the last time I went I ended up buying an Accord 6 months later. But I don't regret it. I'm looking at the new Kia SUV, may test drive one of those soon too.
^ i plan on getting mine installed by WikedKustomz real soon. He'll do the work at his house in Vacaville.
