Well, looks like most people got their Thank You's and what not in. I'm gonna go ahead and refresh the details of the meet innabit. So i just want to make sure its "Meet -> Run -> Eat -> Chill/Mods -> Hooters" Does that sound good? Basically, it's an all day affair

I'm hoping to make it. I bought Rolie's Koni's and if he can make it to the meet then I have some Koni's to install. I have installed alot of things on cars, but never springs or shocks. I'm sure someone here has done that before. What's needed to do an install? Spring Compressor, which I don't have... what else?

Also if you guys wanna do installs at my house that's fine too. But I don't have things to do a spring/shock install... But I do have a compressor and lots of tools, jacks etc.

Jim,

How accessable are your rear strut tops w/ the stereo in it?? I think that's the main concern. Yeah, you need spring compressors. I have two sets that have basically paid for themselves over the years. For the rear struts, you literally don't need to compress anything. Ask Rolie. With the springs you have now, compressing it will be minimal and easy. It's not too hard to do at all.

DAMN, not too easy at all. have to do a FULL uninstall of all panels and the box. Probably a PAIN IN THE @SS!

You know, I think as long as the back seat can come out, you can get to them that way. I believe that's how we did Rolie's car. There's nothing physically attached to the rear seat, is there?

As far as spring install/uninstall is concerned. The rear, all that is required is the removal of the back seats, then you can easily access the struts. I'm sure we can get together and do it!

Cool man, you are set. No worries about the stereo equipment. It's not too difficult of a job. Me and Rolie put his car back to stock. We spent more time bs'ing than working.

it's pretty straight forward, the hardest part i think is using the spring compressor

That's easy money right there man. Done it a bunch of times. You would be a bit cautious at first, but after a while, it's like nothing. Plus, he is on comptechs already. Much less of a spring to compress.

Exactly, since we are all pretty knowledgeable about it, it shouldnt be a problem. Jim, if you want you can do it at my place after the meet/run.

Wishlist!

So what's everyone's next mod?

If everything goes as planned, I might be getting rims pretty soon. If not, then my next mod would probably be front component speakers and amp. Or sways
