I PM'ed Seattle CL-S and Bigguyonbike to let them know the date also. I'm glad we're doing Medford. Makes it much more workable over a weekend.

I'm sure the oil companies were affected a bit by the storm, but you know for sure they will use any excuse to increase prices and start gouging even more than they have been.

I saw some guys in Ramblings talking about heating oil being up to $1.90. I have a feeling that these series of events are going to slow down the economy.

I think it will start to chip away at disposable income. Everything has a transportation component to it. I bet Jatt is really feeling it with the trucking company.

The sad part about the flood is that it could have been prevented years ago. But back in the 90's the prez at the time vetoed several emergency bills that would have upgraded the dikes to handle CAT 5 hurricanes. Many experts have been warning the gov. that the dikes would break within a few years and cause a lot more damage than any hurricane. Well, they called it didn't they.

I know peole are trying to fend for themselves, but some people are being downright greedy, and using a misfortune of an entire state to benefit themselves
