Tranny seems to be holding up fine. There wasnt any large paticulates in the fluid, but it was a bit dirty/thick. When it was on the dyno, it wasnt slipping.

So I was out driving last nite and didnt find anyone to run. On the main street leading to my house, it looked like one of the valet ppl from a hotel/country club was taking a NEW black C6 Z06 for a joyride. He peeled out of the driveway, spun the car a little, and then got control of it heading down to my street, so I caught up with him and we stopped at the intersection. He took off more aggressively and then shifted to 2nd. I took it slow, put it in 2nd, and dipped on the throttle showing a little APS blowoff valve while chirping into 3rd

but he wouldnt bite. Oh well...

We'll definitely have to plan our next meet to be at least two weeks after the rainy season is over. That should give the road repair crews plenty of time to do their stuff.
