Why no step-up to a 750?

School me for a sec: what's better about this 600?

750 is quite the jump me thinks. The 600 is more manageable from a driving standpoint, as per my biker friends.

Yeah I could've gone with 750 but only Suzuki got one right now... I'm in love with these new R6's... I was cross shopping gixxer 600/750 and R6 but final word was with R6. Plus I also heard they were going to discontinue 750s and make 800s which I don't want it to happen if I had just bought 750.

Sure been quiet here. Maybe we need to change the title of this thread back to "The Official...". ???

We need to put out a call-to-arms for El Presidente to give us a state-of-the-union message and assure us that STM is still alive and well and will continue to flourish.

Also, has anyone heard from Glenn lately?

Gee, I wonder how long it will take for the resident lurker to chime in with his ultra-intelligent comments...

EDIT... just realized that I started a new page... maybe this is a good omen to a fresh beginning for this thread.

It's only partly cloudy here... but lots more rain coming. In fact the rest of this month looks like solid rain.

How's your bike? I just hope you don't get this mod...

i hate the rain...wish it would stop ASAP. I hit a huge pothole last weekend and my front rim bent! So the zizzle is out of commission for a lil bit, getting the rim fixed, and service (oil, diff oil, trans oil, plugs).

On the brighter side, the boost is going up baby.

I want some gold wheels for my bike... anyone got hookup?

Either Carrozzeria or Marchesini aluminum forged, the size is F17x3.50 & R17x5.50

No, say it isn't so. I feel your pain, Ronnie. Who are you taken the rim to?

As far as more boost, are you going to break the 500 WHP barrier?

Why you posting bike mods on a car forum? j/k

I think those wheel will look very nice on your bike. Maybe if you show up at a meet, we can see your bike in person.

Maybe we could do a Fresno/Yosemite meet, earlier summer. The water falls should be flowing really heavy this year.

SP is taking care of the rim...shoould be able to just bang it straight. Ted said he'll run over to wheeltechniques and have them check it out.

Ted's got some new mapping done, so using the new program with 91/100 octane mapping I will gain +2 lbs boost on 91 and I can run 15-16lbs on 100 which would yield to 530+whp

That's just plain sick. We'll have to do a run to see just how far behind the 8-ball (z-ball) my X is.
