No Hammer, Pimp, Red, or Harsh = everyone driving up to Sactown and no one is even from there. (most of the time Justin is in the Bay on the weekends) Well, Jared is still there. If everyone is coming from the Bay, I would rather avoid the 1.5 hour drive and do something more local.

As much as I hate to say it, STM's are a thing of the past. Like Dennis said, the old crew from SacTown are gone or MIA for the most part. Hopefully we can organize regular meets local to the BA ... and they don't need to be big-ass meets either.

that sounds good...big meets are cool sometimes but its kind of a pain in the ass to deal with everyone.

San Jose/Bay Area works for me too. Distance is probably the same. As mentioned earlier, should we start planning another Yosemite/Fresno drive? The path we drove in through Mariposa is closed due to a slide and I'm not sure if they'll open up this year. We could also do a drive to Reno to Tahoe

Since things have been so quite around here, I actually went to a Z meet this last weekend hosted by Nissan of Clovis. We had at least 50 Z's ranging from 240Z through 350Z's. Quite a few 300ZXTT's, one Greddy 350ZTT, one Vortech 350, and a couple Stillen SC'ed 350's. My favorite was a 280ZX with a LS1. Ronnie would have made a good showing there.

Yeah, I would go to Scion meets, but there is a shit load of drama within that group. It's crazy! There is a big event going on in Tracy this weekend, plus they get together once a week in the evening. I think some of the people are cool, but I was treated differently by a shop because I wasn't in a Scion group. BS.

Hey Guys, long time no post for me. I've been REALLY busy with my NEW house.

The reason I am posting is that I have been considering selling the CL-S... But I have no idea what it's worth in it's current state... Any of you have any ideas or suggestions?

For those of you that don't know or remember the car here is a refresher...

2001 Acura CL Type S - Red
Over $12K in Audio/Video Mods
Many Comptech Mods (Except SC)
Probably over $1K just in the alarm.
Has been VERY well kept with about 55K miles on it...
STRONG Tranny (Never been replaced)

I'd prefer to sell it AS IS without parting out...

Please give me some feedback guys...

Thanks
Jim (PimpD@ddy)

Hard to say Jim....if you part out the audio...you can probably get a lot more of your money back....your car in stock condition with the mods could probably fetch about $17k...its all about the right buyer....

Sorry to hear that the CL may go.

Unfortuneatley, most of the mods will only help you get high value KBB private party value. The key is to find the right buyer. (like moomaster mentioned) If you can find that right person, you will get much more money.

Good luck!!

I too hate to see another CL leave the group

Hope you find the right buyer though. Seems like in most cases, parting out will yield more than selling as a whole unless as others have said, you find the right guy.

Any idea what you're going to replace her with?

I know what you mean. The Z club down here is a very nice group of guys but very Z/Nissan focused. I think that's what really differentiated the Sactown crew. It's definitely a diverse group that is truly made up of car enthusiasts.

Damn,

So is anyone using the "other" site to post? I posted something about a possible meet, but no response. I guess I shouldn't have mentioned a drive up to Sactown.

So are we gonna have a meet this month or next? If y'all r up for a drive, where are some good roads? Even though I'm familiar with the Bay, I'm not really familiar with the back roads that encourage hard driving.

I'm itching to take the Evo out.

I was hoping to do something local this weekend. I have no idea what road to drive, nor the best meet point to go on those drives.

That sounds cool. I know of the area of that drive, but didnt know where a good meet point was. If standford mall is a good spot, let's do it.

Okay. I'm going to be in Sac July 8th. If there isnt a Fresno meet that day then whoever wants to go on a drive can. I'm not making it an official meet but if people want to drive/eat/get beer/etc then write something. Otherwise I'll be in Sac to get my Mustang shit and then go back home. Post if there is any interest.
