I found out later in the day when I was trying to text someone.. tried backtracking but no idea where it went. It was a white 3g so if it was face down its probably almost impossible to find... esp. in the black diamonds where everyones just smashing down.. probably covered in snow.

Switching to verizon sometime this month I think. Eyeing the new google Nexus One .. rumor is its going to verizon? anyone else know details?

Booo! Sorry man...

Is that the new "droid" phone? I heard they were selling unlocked versions too.
But I think you are right about the Verizon part.

2nd day was a blizzard...the 3rd day of boarding it was -8...4th day was the coldest -8 + windchill which brought it down to -14 at the summit...

Beaver Creek

but i have weak ass fitment now, 18x7.5+45 all around

and they're dual 6 spokes, the news ones are dual 7 spokes.

only downside i see is that i'd be downgrading from my work wheels to these inovit sparkle wheels. but my works are heavy, old, and weak fitment.

and these wheels are only $450 picked up in LA, his powdercoater can do the set for $160 but thats not including filling the letters so hopefully it'll be about 200 for the set to powdercoat.

i can maybe use my existing tires too, he says he recommends 225s for the back which i have, and 215s for the front.

oh and now he also mentioned that he has another set thats 18x8 all around, in matte black already (with letters) for $400.

yea staggered. and im probably going to do matte black too, if i get the wheels.

im probably not going to get the 18x8s all around, i want the staggered silver ones which i'll then have the letters filled and powdercoated matte black.

Ok, looking for some opinions.

Should I stick with the leather/blackwood/black bling ring?

Or go with the all blackwood/chrome bling ring

i like the leather one dennis, it ties into your dash/seats etc...

it also looks more refined/ well made even though they're the same company.

im already in talks with the guy about filling the lettering. so its pretty much a done deal. although if you like those wheels, i think he can get another set... maybe not 9" wide though but i'll ask if you're serious... pm me if you are.

im going to pick these wheels up the weekend of Feb. 20th since im going to vegas that weekend, i'm going to drive down to LA to pick them up before i come home.

if your only reason for buying the new wheels is because the set you have now isnt aggressive, these arent all that aggressive either, so you may want to reconsider. would hate for you to buy these and then a month later want a different set. dennis, stick with the wood/leather

mostly random sh*t that just likes to pop up for me...as for the wheel, blackwood all the way mang just don't have the time or resources (funds) to fix right now...might do a bypass for the time being...

im not looking for super aggressive setup like many others have. i just want something a little better to work with. i can add small spacers to the new wheels to flush them out. i could add big spacers to my current wheels but then i'd have to stretch tires which is not going to look good on a 7.5 rim at least with 8 and 9, i can do a mild stretch.215 tires on the 8s and 225s on the 9s

never been a fan of poke/or the NEW hella flush..... but straight flush(aka the old "hella flush"), thats something i can acheive with these new wheels plus 5-10mm spacers and mild stretch.
