It's been so long since my last tint. Want to get light tints for my new 2013 TL. I know of "Tint King" in Bridgeport and "Tint Man" in Monroe. Think my last tints were done in New Haven somewhere lol. Also, do they always have to remove the door panels?
Your recommendations greatly appreciated.

I live in new britain area, and there are few tint shops around here aren't bad. depends how much you are willing to pay for your tints.

 

I went to Gotham Auto for detailing and tinting , the tint is ok for the most part but for what ive payed for it i was expecting it to be perfect.

 

Just bumping this thread. To see if anyone has heard any reviews of BG Tint which is just over the border in Springfield. Or any other places near Central Connecticut. Thanks!

 

tint man in Monroe by far and I've been to them all, ill take the ride from new haven everytime cause of the quality of his product and work. not to mention u can roll ur windows down that day!

 

Tint Man is close to where I work and considered going there. They use Johnson Tint. I went to Speed of Sound in Ansonia CT. A friend from HS owns it and gave me a discount. They use 3M. I almost got the Crystalline but figured too expensive and went with the Color Stable.

 

I ended up driving to Springfield and BG Tint. Really worth the drive as the guys did a great job with my car especially with the cold weather we are having. Went with the Suntek Carbon 35 percent on the four windows and 20 percent on the back window. They do a lot of work on high end luxury cars as well as the Massachusetts State Police vehicles. After a couple phone calls I was sold. Glad I decided to make the 40 minute trek.

 

I also went to speed of sound. Been going there for yrs for tints and alarms/remote start. My boy own s the shop

 

Too bad you CT guys are so far away. I had my TL don't by S&S Window Tint in Bedford, MA. Same Suntek Carbon Tint plus Computer cut, his price was 160.00 no one can touch that up in the area.

Older thread, but to anyone still looking I went to tint man in monroe a few months back, dropped my car off at 9am and they were done by 12. Very friendly and have held up very well.

 

I also went to speed of sound in ansonia, ct. I have been going there for years with all my cars. Milton, the owner, is a great guy and does great work. I have no complaints from him.
