i know it would be fairy tale if i could whip up some eggrolls for our last real meet. but unfortunately, we'll have to settle with me bringing 48 cans of pop and some chips

 

I have no idea what to bring right now....tell me to get something and I'll get it...

 

If i do get to go, I will probably show up in my nice wedding clothes...

So I did some PC work at the place I get my oil changed - got me a free oil change out of the deal.

Then I brought my car in for the recalls, and I get this TSX loaner. I got in it, and the seats are comfy. Not too shabby, no nav though. Ihope I can find my way back to the dealership..lol

So I'm thinking things aren't so bad because people are always trying to compare the two cars anyways right? I go to pull out of the parking lot. Not too bad for acceleration either. Then I realize that the real power is only from like 0-20. Then it's a toss-up between the TSX and my mountain bike.

BOOOOO to the TSX. It's 1000x better than a cavalier or something, but it's not sporty in the least bit.

 

Some one bring charcoal lighter fluid. Someone can bring burgers, hot dogs. We need the people whos name is on the list to confirm so we could get a head count and know how much we need to bring. I think if you said you are coming say what you are bringing.

 

Glow what do you expect for a 4 banger. Now if they put the Turbo Engine that comes on the RDX which is coming next year then the TSX is going to have some KICK

The Acura crew in RI sucks so far. Havn't really found anyone on Azine yet. Saw a nice CL-S today tho with a Comptech catback, sounded sick. I am trying to meet up with some Boston guys but nothing has happened yet. And the Ronjon meet in NYC is this month so I am going to try and make it to that.

Josh, is the Zuma the scooter? That thing is hot have u been riding it? I want to see a carbon pipe and spinners on it before the end of the summer.

I will bring brats and brat buns no problem. BTW underst8, if I still lived in RI, I would roll and kick wit ya but no more RI for me. I used to live on Manton Ave, a few blocks on the west side where Manton splits into Atwells. I do miss the ocean though but not the small hiways and streets.

 

I'm still trying to see if I can slip away for part of the morning since I do want to come to the meet.....I let ya know by tomorrow lol.

The Zuma is the scoot, and it is a LOT of fun. It only goes 33 MPH, so you can't get into a lot of trouble and you can really beat on it. I did a wheelie yesterday on my way home, it was hilarious.

I have plans for a 70cc kit over the winter, but nothing until the end of the summer, which is I believe, next week! Seriously, it has been cooling off quite a bit over here, no hot tub and pool action for a while.

MN Sport Compact meets -

 

We've suffered a casualty in the TL family. Well, maybe not a casualty, more of a scraped knee.

I got hit on the way home yesterday. I don't think the guy realized that he hit me though. It was very light, and I pulled over, he didn't. I got his plates and called the state patrol though.

Now my only problem is the van is registered to a business in Loiusiana, and I google'd em and they don't appear to have a website. So I may have to call it in to my insurance company and let them find out who they are.

Dammit...

nah - I have a chip about the size of half a dime, and 2 scrapes that are about 6 inches long. I think the scrapes could be buffed out, but it almost looks like the chip has a crack coming off of it.

if it was just the chip, I may be tempted to fill it in myself. It's gonna be a pain in the ass to find this company. If anyone wants to help, I'm looking for Peoples Equipment Resource in Loiusiana.
