I think whenever it's not 900 degrees outside, we should get TS_Vaj and Slepy over to someone's house and have them both do their own headers, and we can lend a hand if/when needed. Plus, if we are doing it on 2 cars, it will be a little easier to learn as it gets done on the first one, and apply it to the second.

That is, unless we have a header expert among us. I'm not that guy, but I can't remember if you have headers josh.

(by the way... it still pisses me off that you guys can buy headers for a few hundred bucks.... lol)

 

I would be more than willing to help. Not when its 900 degrees though. Unless I'm getting paid or its my own car.

I don't know a thing bout putting them on lol...I got em for $100.....I just need them installed. I don't trust myself....I might degrade the car. Only stuff I've ever done is basic stuff like intake, changing out headlights, taillights, installing lip kits etc..easy stuff.

I'm gonna keep looking for places that will put em on for under $300...or else I'll just sell them if I can't find anyone heh.

Headers are pretty easy. The hardest part is getting the nut to break loose on the stud instead of just pulling the stud out of the head and then getting them out of the car.

I figure we can get a single set installed in a few hours at the shop. It most likely will take longer for the car to cool down than it will to actually get the work done, so plan on bringing the car, hanging out and BBQ-ing for a bit before we dig into that big beast.

So, bring some beer and some burgers and brats and we'll get the headers installed. If you are dead set on paying someone, you can throw a few bucks at us

 

lets set an official date, what works best for everyone?
and yeah, I don't know anything about how to install these..

my friends are being made into a competition cheerleading team, and they did interviews to see if they really needed it, so my friend and I got interviewed and got to cut them down as much as possible to make them look they really need it.
