Wasup guys. Just picked up a white TL 6spd with gray leather interior. I honestly didnt think one that specific combo existed in MN but here I am. And yes, I'm aware of the odds. Long story short, it had to be white and manual or nothing.

Anyways, if nate0022 is who I think he is, I'm not a complete stranger here. Looking forward to meeting you guys and putting some KW coils on the car, opening up the exhaust and rolling on Blitz 01's soon.

Yeah he takes some great pictures. Sorry, for the life of me I can't remeber his name. He was the one everyone wanted pics taken from on MNSC. Glad to see your still in Minnesota? Or still in Vegas?

Nice! I'd be down for it! Hopefully we don't have snow in May like we did last year!

oh yea, totally forgot about b4b at map.

also according to the weather forecasts, we are supposed to be getting an early spring because of all these cold fronts moving through so quickly.

Yeah I'm not going to hold my breathe for an early spring. I remember two years ago, I was golfing on st. Pattys day.

Well I just wanted to say I really enjoyed driving 40 miles to have lunch at BWW by myself two weeks ago. But hey whatever. Well the M is back at the dealer again I wont bore you all with the hassle I had getting a loaner car but it probably isn't a good thing when the SA calls an hour or two after I dropped it off and says it's going to be a few weeks to figure out what is wrong and fix it.

Time to sell it and move on. As awesome as the E60 M5 is, it's not at all awesome when it just sits at the dealership doing nothing while you drive around in a 528i (or worse).

Anyway, awesome to see a photographer on here, I shoot a lot too and have really wanted to get into car photography as something new. You guys can see a bunch of my other work in the photography section.

I really hope this winter just suddenly stops in mid March, that would be awesome. It is supposed to be in the mid to upper 30's next week though...time to bust out the shorts and tshirts.

It's funny I paid $3,000 more for my TL-S back in 2008 with the same miles. In other news the M is still at the dealer no word since I dropped it off last week. I kind of forced a word out of them when I went to the dealer for the BMW Drive for Team USA event on Saturday and went into the service department to check up on it. And what the SA told me is my car is with the Diagnostic Team which is a team of specialist who will go thru every fault code and try to replicate the conditions which it occurs. Instead of the standard team which I am guessing just reads the faults and throws a new part at it and sees if it goes away. So yes because of the labor intensive process of checking and rechecking the codes it will be a week or two for them to give it a clean bill of health.

Here is how the last 80 days have gone for me
37 days spent at the dealer
24 days with zero problems
19 days spent driving with a Service Engine Soon light on waiting for appointment.

That's how it is. Keep calling him he probably will answer your phone call. It's really nice of you to stop by the thread.

Because I ordered an atlp jpipe to get rid of the slight rasp I have from the rv6. Looking for $325 for the jpipe.

Weather sucks. I haven't seen this much snow in a long time. We probably got 12-14 inches of snow last night. I'm anxious for the melt to start that's for sure. I have a few parts to put on. Atlp jpipe and I just ordered an oem type s lip spoiler.

That sucks to hear your M5 is having so many issues. Both my parents switched to BMWs in 2012. 2012 X5 Diesel and a 2007 550i E60. Both have been pretty solid. 550i picked up used with 46k miles and at 62k now. All its needed is a battery and an oil change. Been pretty pleased so far now.

M5 is a little different caliber of maintenance though compared to the V8 550. I looked into them with my dad as he wanted one BAD after I detailed your 06. But the ownership costs between maintenance and fuel was a deciding factor. The 550i gets surprisingly good mileage. 17-19 in town and down mid to upper 20s on the highway.

Keep us updated on what exactly is wrong with your M5. How many miles are on it?

Yes, the name is Adam. I'm glad to see a few familiar screen names popping up now too.

Thanks for the plug Nate. Don't know if you follow my work but since I last shot your car, I've been featured in over 10 magazines.

SIclone, this unicorn I searched forever it seems. It HAD to be white and manual. I can live with the tan interior but it had to be manual. I gave up after a few months. Started looking at g35x and accord manuals. Then out of the blue I decide to do a full sweep before flying out to VA to pick up an S2000. And found her on Carsoup in Eden Prarie. WTF....locally? Say it ain't so? Any luck in picking up a white manual for you? Or did you settle on an SI or accord instead?

Walleye, I apologize I do not remember you. But I know your Fruad brother. LOL. Don't be a stranger and say hi when you see me. I'm usually wearing a TYC Photography shirt.

I'm definitely looking forward to meeting you guys this year. Winter has made it's point dame it. Any day now spring.
