Thanks! I like them a lot and have been getting quite a bit of compliments on them. Gotta love when some random chick says your car is sexy.. Prob should have capitalized on her talking to me.. Then again the GF would probably have my balls if I did that..
The RonJon Inspyres look good xpressobeans & luckyjakob! I was actually considering those wheels, but I ended up going with the Legend Type IIs
+1

Thanks! I actually wanted to pick up a set of the first Legends either in Liquid Graphite or the Grim Reaper edition, but the I couldn't pass up the Inspyres! I'm glad to see people are diggin the Inspyres
Thank you
You know it
. I'm not that much of a speeder anymore, only 5 mph above the posted limit or sometimes just speed limit. As I'm enjoying my ride from point A to point B. I haven't gotten any kind of tickets so I hope to keep it that way. Jake, new wheels looking good! Drop it and finish off the Aspec lip kit and you're golden.
Dude a few pages back
lukyjakob,WBA 01,MN07TLS, and I are going.
A drop is planned sometime this year though. Debating if I should go with the Eibach ProKit or not.. didn't do much research before I picked up the Eibachs lol
Yeah, I saw that. I just wanted to see if anyone changed their mind or if anyone else was planning on going
My new wheel thread, since everybody seems to be making them now a days lol. https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/ssm4drs-new-staggered-wheels-updated-12-25-12-a-851388/
What up guys, im thinking of going with this set up... what do you think? Will I need a camber kit or can I get away without one... It should only drop about 1.5" at the most.

If that's what you want that's cool dude
If I can give you some feedback Dan a guy that used to be here when we started this thread he put Teins on his CL and lowered it the handling was incredible but the ride sucked it was way to stiff it was terrible driving in Downtown. Way to stiff.

I hear ya, I had Teins on my stratus and it was pretty bumpy, I likes it though. I dont drive in downtown... Im a suburbanite now...LOL!
Price has alot to do with my choice as well. I wanted coilovers but then Joe brought up a good point about snow and road salt getting into the threads during the winter.... Plus, they cost more than im willing to spend on a car that is not going to the track. This set up will cost me around 700 with shipping and taxes. the spring/strut combos i was looking at cost ~750+ BEFORE shipping and tax. Im still deciding though. there isnt anything IMMEDIATELY wrong with my suspension now, I just hit 125K and I know they will need to be changed sometime so might as well get something I want.
I do think I need to fix the sway link though. When I hit bumps i hear a clanking noise in the left front. I was waiting for summer to do it but since summer came early this year I guess ill take care of it sooner....

Just got my deck lid spoiler today, I will be installing it this weekend hopefully
What was the 3M tape that you used for your rear windshield spoiler that you used? How is it holding up? I want to make sure this spoiler is going to stay great

Right on
Congrats
. The 3M tape I used on my roof spoiler is: http://www.mcmaster.com/#3m-4929-tape/=gs1nqg. And since you're putting it on the body and not glass, I think the 3M tape they supply you should be more than enough.
I might need someone's help putting it on.. Will provide compensation in some form whether it's cash or booze or steaks
Koni yellows were awesome on my previous car 02 Accord coupe V6 paired with Ground control coilover sleeves. Before you do go ahead and buy that set up, read this thread if you got some time: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=786979
Thanks

Hey Joe, what do you think about this? If i read this article right, no one should ever lower their car EVER!!! To me, if you dont want a bumpy ride, then stay with stock. I understand what is being said, I get that using lowering springs and shocks will make your ride bumpy and you lose shock travel, that's what happens when you lower the car, travel gets less... If this was a track car, then I would worry about inertia, and shock travel, and precision handling through corners, this is my everyday car. Trying to "backyard mechanic" my shocks to increase travel to optimize ride quality to keep the same ride as stock with the look of lowered? WAY too much work. Not everybody has time to sit around and think up ways to perfectly tune absolutely everything. Its just like everything else, if you want the same gas mileage, don't boost your car, if you don't want a tint ticket, don't tint your windows. This is a luxury car, if you still want luxury, LEAVE IT ALONE!!
Anyone else feel that way or am I the only asshole?
SSM4DR, thanks for the heads up though.

Point blank....your not going to be able to lower your TL and keep that "smooth, luxurious ride" unless you are willing to put in a whole lot more time and money than what you probably expected.

Thanks. I was doing a test fitting tonight, and I'm not sure it's an exact match.. The spoiler is flexible.. I've never really seen one that was flexible like that.
