Nope, no lip kit here. I am still in the air about getting one too. The car already drags because it is so low, I would hate to offer more paint to the ground for scraping...

Do it all at the same time. When you put new rotors and pads on, change out the brake fluid for something good and also put on the stainless lines as well. You are supposed to change the fluid at some point anyway.

wow haven't checked in in a while. i am planning on skiiing on saturday with josh. I would be down to do your bearings ken if that doesn't work or you want to do it on sunday. Josh, get the headers - we need to see if my logitech PC wheel and pedals interfaces with your PS3, it does not work with my xbox.

as for brakes, Hawk is good. I am planning on doing a full EBC gold/slotted rotors and red stuff pads + SS brakelines when I get the dough.

suspension has not been fixed. Need more parts (dammit!) but the fucker sticks like glue anyway

What's up dude? You've been holding out on me? What kind of crap is that? Bring that wheel on over, I have GT4 and Formula 1 until GT5 comes out...

And yes, I want the headers pretty badly. Besides, we have to see how the headers stack up to the pulley now that we both have an intake bolted on. The only problem is that I have a hard time keeping the wheels under me as it is, I can't imagine what it will be like with another 20 HP.

I picked up a Logitech wheel last night from some dude in St Paul. It really makes it interesting to drive with the force feedback, too bad the pedals don't work with the PS3. But, on the good side, the paddles area analog so they can be used as the gas/brake.

the total time it took for the Header Install was 6 hours.. shitty and the first time i ran the exhaust for a test run while it was on the lift i forgot to connect the O2 senor. my heart dropped when i saw a CEL and smoke comming out of my hood!!! then i realized it was just a simple quick fix. LOL. oops. phew...now that, that is over...next up are K-sports w/ ingalls rear!.

I'm boycotting the world until it warms up (and dries up). This whole being sloppy for weeks on end is getting me down. I've got unlimited car washes, so I'm trying to make due - but I can't even get my baby in the garage before hitting multiple puddles that can't be avoided (or I get behind some slow ass truck that's all jacked up with no mud flappers)

Other than that - doing good. Everyone's been so quiet lately.

Hey - how did your latest chinese/mead party go? I would have loved to go, but I was packing for jamaica man. Didn't really put much thought into it, but I was in Ocho Rios (jamaica) on Bob Marleys birthday. Lots of stuff was closed though because they consider it a national holiday.

Oh well - I'm at work and bored already.

Hey guys - anyone up for helping me with a mod this spring? I hate (I can't bold and capitolize HATE enough to make you understand) that my foglights are built into my headlight housing.

I'm thinking about adding HID yellows to the front bumper. I know there are some good DIY's out there, so hopefully that shouldn't be an issue. But I'm human - you know, the social creatures. When I'm by myself, I'm the laziest bastard alive (I've been remodeling my kitchen for 4 years, and my downstairs bathroom has been going on 2)

So if anyone is interested, maybe we can all get together for a bbq at my place and see if we can't knock this thing out in an afternoon. If anyone has any experience taking off bumpers (or maybe just being creative in general so I can bounce some ideas off them).

Let me know, and hopefully we can plan something for late march / early april?

fog lights built into your headlight housing?? assuming you're talking about a TL, the fog lights are totally separate from the headlights. but maybe i'm understanding you.

i just put 3000k (yellow) HID fogs in my TL, wasn't too difficult & I'm no master at DIY's. If you get a "plug & play" kit, that makes the install pretty easy. I got mine at xenondepot.com.

Yea - I've got an '04 TL, so the fogs are "seperate" from the headlights as in I can turn them on and off at will -> but the fogs are essentially located where a normal cars high beams would be (to the inside of the headlights, in the same housing).

That was probably way more explanation than you needed since you have a TL too, but just in case anyone else wasn't sure.

I was just looking at this post again, and thought I would clarify a bit more and you should know exactly whats going on...lol

On the newer TL's, you were cursed with daytime running lights, but you got the fogs in the lower bumper.

On the older 3G TL's - we have no DRL's, but our fogs are in the location of your DRL (in the insides of the headlight housing).

So I'm not sure if I can just do a plug'n'play swap and turn them into HID's or if I will need to do 1 of 2 things (I posted this in the forum too)

1) Sounds like most people are buying accord fogs, cutting the lower grill, and doing a retro fit.

2) I have been wondering if it would be easier to just get an '07 bumper and the actual 07 foglights, and just move the wiring from the old fogs to the new (essentially just disabling the factory fogs for my "new factory fogs")

I haven't checked into prices yet though, so if it's only like $100 for the accord fogs, but it would be $900 for a new bumper and acura fogs --> I will lean towards being a cheap ass and doing a custom job.

So..... Whose in with me? lol

gotchya. i always thought those were DRL's & was wondering how the hell they were able to have their headlights on w/the DRL's on. makes a hell of a lot more sense to know that those are fogs.

I have an 04 TL I know what you mean. I changed my bulb to match my HID's and it looks great. If you want to change the front bumper because of FOGS trade it in for an 07 - 08 and save yourself the headace.

I agree but not next weekend. I will be snowmobiling in Wisconsin. I think we should have something in the coming weekends. I still have my UR pulley to install and I have the thermo spacers. It will be a fun Spring project to do.

Why not get the 07 bumper and fogs assembly and then enable both sets of lights to run when you turn on your fogs? Then you could go rallying at night and not need to put those lights on the roof.

It might also look kind of pimp to have them all running.

And where the hell is Wausau?
