D-Day for White Heat is this Friday!!! Thus, I will start going to University Ave. EVERY Friday & Saturday night again. I have this Friday and Saturday off (this is the first time this summer!), but I have to work Sunday. Thus, we should have a "mini meet" this Saturday instead of Sunday so I can join. We can even meet at my place We can do some installs, have a 'lil BBQ, etc. Maybe we can go for a cruise through Stillwater and later hit up University Ave... What do ya guys think?

Got signed up today for the Amery Airport speed run!! Woot!

I'm super stoked because I have been trying to get into this for a while and I just found an open spot. 8/22 at the Amery airport I'll be finding out how fast the scoobs can go in half a mile...

tonight was one hell of an adventure.. i pretty much had to figure out how to do everything by myself.. i went through 5 cans of manifold cleaner, and then had to reinstall the stuff... then once everything was sealed back up i tried turning it on. wouldn't even turn over. couldn't figure out if i dropped a bolt(which i was careful with, covering up the open manifold), battery was dead, or something else like hydrolock.

after finding the battery was fine, i tried turning the engine a couple times with a wrench, was hard as fuck. then took out the injectors and spark plugs, and tried turning th engine. still wouldn't budge. had my friend start the car while i was manually turning it(by accident it happened at the same time) but it made it break through the hydrolock. then the engine started barely coming alive when all of a sudden all the carbon buildup and manifold cleaner left over in the engine shot out one of the spark plug valves. it would've shot a good 20ft if the van with a custom business sticker across the whole back of the van had not been 5 feet behind it.. long story short the van's sticker is ruined. and my car is barely living, i'm hoping it gets better

 

Slappy, put new plugs in and see if that helps. You might have fouled them with the manifold cleaner, which I think you are supposed to use on the manifold when it is *OFF* the car...

 

the intake manifold is cleaned while off, which i was on top of.. but the lower manifold was where i fucked up. it's supposed to be cleaned with the shit i used and a rag, not just sprayed out like on the intake. i may switch to some pusle plugs or ngk iridiums or w/e, see how that goes.. although it was ripping pretty hard at the end of today, although at the beginning it got hydrolocked at the top end, especially at higher speeds.. i hit like 95 and it started stuttering and almost died, but then after i gave it 5 mins of 60 after that, it was able to rip again

 

Took Matt out on our boat today and we cruised around. It was fun lol. We debadged his car when we got back.

ts_vaj, saw you last night after getting off work. You was rolling with somebody else in your ride but you didnt say wassup!!!!! but its all good. My ride looks like shit right now just got back from New York and came home to a cracked windshield. Getting it replaced today at my work place. Also two small dents on my hood. No one in my family knows where it came from. Must be the neighbors kids cause they mess around in my parking lot a lot. damn kids!!!!!

Next summer im really going to make it out to a few though. I am sure the G would do fine and should still have enough in it to make it a good time, even though its a bit of a boat.

 

Finally picked up my XSi. You'd think the damn thing was printed in japanese or something. I can barely figure out how to take a picture let alone be all super fancy with it. I have to say.. no matter how good you think your P&S camera is... it isn't shit compared to a DSLR
