The 2nd is MOWOG 1, that is the first event of the 2009 autocross season. The 3rd is MOWOG 2, and that is the 2nd event of the 2009 season. There is a subway nearby for people to stop in and get some grubbage.

Co-driving means that we share the car. In this case, the STi. Since it is a 6-spd, that would be a yes.

 

i know how to drive a stick.. now you might need to teach me a thing or 2, and scoot the seat up a considerable amount, but if you need someone, i've done it.

 

Matt's hoping for some sort of natural disaster to hit Milwaukee that weekend, so he's going to hold off selling his spot until then.

Should there not be a freak snowstorm that only hits Milwaukee, or a tornado, or an earthquake, then he'll prolly be looking to sell. If that happens, and you purchase those spots, then we'll work out a deal for the co-drive. For 2 days of events plus entry you'll prolly be looking at $150. You'll also need a helmet.

If it comes to it and you do drive in his spot I've got a dirtbike helmet if you need it.

 

It's just got to be Snell 2000 or better or it will not pass tech.

Look inside it for the SNELL rating. It should be on a sticker under the liner somewhere, just root around in there until you find it. If there isn't one, then you won't be able to use it, but a trip to Bob's Cycle will get you a helmet for $50.

All kidding aside, Razzi's English is probably better than mine if you were to look at it from the perspective of me having spoken it all my life (32 years) and him only for about 12 years. It's also my ONLY languge.

 

It was really nice meeting you all on Saturday; the meet/cruise was a lot of fun! So how many/who all went to B Dubs? I wanted to go but ended up loosing pretty much everyone besides Kent and a Black TL (forgot his name). I thought everyone was going to B Dubs so I followed them for about 30 miles out of the Twin Cities until I found out they were headed back home to Buffalo

If everyone is cool with it, we should get everyone's number so we can call one another if we get lost due to someone (Jorge, haha) or if we need to ask someone something while we are driving (like where they are going, lol). I'll start it off:

Razzi was actually talking about getting some of those short-range walkie-talkies for the next drive so that there could be some inter-car conversation and less issues with the 'where are we going' thing.

I'd have to figure out a headset thing though, I am more interested in driving than talking. With one hand on the stick and one on the shifter, I am flush out of hands.

 

i was going to bwws too, however i followed some members all the way back to Brooklyn park WTH?? walkie-talkies is a good idea man....also, i suggest we will have 2 leaders who know the route, one stays in front and one stays in back, in case more than half the group get lost again lol ......also i would suggest we follow the speed limit so my 2.4 can keep up,jk.....Once we get to open road, then we can floor the gas.
