Dan, you should be fine without that bolt....but if your OCD is kicking in I know Steven has the air box replaced with a SRI and Matt is thinking of a CAI....so either of them who is willing to part with that "part" can hook u up....
also, I think its the same part between the base and the Type S, you can get get a Base box cover as well

Danny, I recently saw an ad on craigslist for an OEM intake. Can't remember if it was a base or type s, but I don't think they are different.

For the price of the XXRs, couldn't say no. Nurburgrings are the secks, but the price is not.

VIP room baby !!! depending on the rims, you might find a nice finish on top of the finish
and some lithium grease on them coils yeah...take the rear seats out, blast everything with pb (including the top bolts)....try to take the front strut bar out (those bolts at times strip on me and hence it will be a potential problem on the day of install)....
