am consolidating both days into 1 day if you guys can do March 2st....something came up on March 9th and I will have to work odd hours....and this weekend seems like it will be bitter cold....

So people who are getting alignment will meet an hour or 2 before meet and get the alignment and we can caravan from there to the restaurant we decide to go to....

March 2nd Meet
1> Anil + 1 - Alignment
2> Eric + 1 - Alignment
3> Matt + 1 - Alignment
4> Abdul - Alignment
5> David
6>Faheem + 1
7>Mr. Kansas City
8> Daniel
9> Mike
10> Sean - Alignment

Everyone good with 1 meet on March 2nd as compared to 2 meets?

I used the 3M kit on many of my cars and it worked great! Just have to make sure you tape around the headlights VERY well or else when your sanding using the drill and you slip you can go straight through the paint (Figured that one out my self) But other then that its about the best kit i have used and brings them back to new shine and takes all the haze away!

I need to start collecting some kind of commission LOL

If you want it done professionally, I can get you a hookup at Firestone...I will ask the chic and see what she can do for you....

If you want a quick cheap job, I know another place off 135th....great guy....3.5 years back he sold me 4 almost new Fuzion HRI tires + installed them for $150....I was and them tires lasted me 35-38K miles...

Will give you the contact for the 2nd place and call the chic and firestone and we can get it done on March 2nd if you wish..

If it is anything less than great weather, my car won't come out and play

As far as the tire thing goes, call around to "mom and pop" shops. It should be no more than 75 bucks for mounting and balancing new tires/wheels. I'm surprised where you bought the tires from it wasn't included in the price.

Well I bought type s wheels and just want to swap the tires I have on my stock wheels over the type s wheels. Nothing major but tires plus wanted $180 after tax I told him that's sky high but told me he was giving me a discount and that was the price I took my dodge 3500 up there a couple months ago and did the same thing but only got charged 80 bucks, told him I didn't realize the prices jumped that much. Needless to say I don't think I will go back if that's the prices haha

Keep in mind that the lifetime rotate/balance is for the tires, and a separate deal for lifetime alignment for the car. When I first hit up Firestone for the lifetime deals, I was under the impression all 3 were 1 deal for the lifetime of the car. So when I get new tires, I'm going to have to get another lifetime balance/rotate.

Besides that it wasn't too bad, saw SO many cars on the sides of the highways on my way back home about 45 minutes ago...

^^^ we all are meeting for the meet unless SNOW really doesnt stop....

I have the day setup at Firestone, but the girl will call me back with the time as I requested for it to be around 4-ish...

Plan is we meet at Firestone (people who want alignment) and buy it and step out by (say) 5:30-ish....drive to the meeting place and have some food and take some pix....

I am ok with OK Joes or D&B or any other place....the eating place will most likely depend on the place we decide to take pix....

I say we only meet up and get the alignments paid for/setup/done, and then MAYBE do lunch. It is gonna be fucking cold on Sat. and I'm sure no one wants to stand around taking pics. Also the cars are gonna be FILTHY so pics are gonna suck.

I don't think anyone would be butt hurt by moving this back a month or so. I highly doubt I would be driving the TL if we meet up this weekend.

What are your thoughts everyone?

17 degrees is fine to you when the sun goes down?

I was on board with the 9th, but you have to work. So if you can change the date, why can't I?

as i mentioned am fine with anything....i changed the date coz I dont wanna lose my job and you are changing the date coz of the winter (which will persists for 4 months out of 12 LOL)....

and its not 17 when the sun goes down, 17 is the minimum of the FULL DAY and usually around 2-3am...I dont plan on being out that late...do you

btw I love you Maff

Again, you are horrible at math. Meet up at 4 for the alignments + waiting around for people who want it done that day + going to eat after all of that. You think all that can be done in 2 hours by the time the sun goes down, I think not.

Go take a shower with your Bath and Bodyworks products and then report back to me

NO ONE IS GETTING ALIGNMENT THAT DAY !!! I dont think you know how to read....

you need an appointment for alignment which you cant get unless you have the damn lifetime alignment....ya dig?

..and I think you are oblivious to how the weather is:

Meet at 4 (weather will be probably around 35-40degs)
Out of Firestone at 5-15ish (we just need to go there and buy the deal and LEAVE)
Go somewhere and take pix...done by 7:30 (ish) (2 and half hours is enough to drive and take pix)
Eat food (indoors) - whenever you are done, sit in your damn car (indoors) and go home (indoors)

so what part of 17 deg weather are you hitting? I can almost guarantee the weather will be above 28deg at 7PM (if the geniuses at weather.com dont change the forecast)

I think in your books, oo sun is out and hence 35deg, oo sunset so now the weather is 17 degs....really?

I'm glad you know all about how the weather will be, maybe you should switch professions

Anyways, so I will come prepared to stand out in the cold and when you get cold I'm gonna pin you down and make you stand out in it with me. I know how we all are, we wanna look at everyones car and stand around and talk. This is how it always has been and how it will always be.

Its ok to admit defeat Anil, and say I am right.

I can tolerate cold weather more than most people in America, I do work outside everyday ya know. So that is not a problem with me. What I have a problem with is indroducing my car to these filthy roads/salt etc. My TL is not my daily driver so I don't want to fuck it up.
