Does anyone local have a '07-'08 Type-S intake air box they'd like to sell? Mine has a busted off bolt.

I'm going to try to swing by if I can tomorrow afternoon to say hey.

 

Dan, you should be fine without that bolt....but if your OCD is kicking in I know Steven has the air box replaced with a SRI and Matt is thinking of a CAI....so either of them who is willing to part with that "part" can hook u up....

also, I think its the same part between the base and the Type S, you can get get a Base box cover as well

 

Danny, I recently saw an ad on craigslist for an OEM intake. Can't remember if it was a base or type s, but I don't think they are different.

Ordered a new toy for the car today, will take about 4 weeks to assemble before delivery...

It has seen salt but as of right now my aftermarket wheels are on. So yes it has seen salt with stock wheels but no I wouldn't drive it with aftermarket wheels on with salt/snow. So you can quit your bitching too!!

takes those rear seats out and spray all the bolts with PB Blaster....it will help with the install of the coils

For the price of the XXRs, couldn't say no. Nurburgrings are the secks, but the price is not.

yeah...take the rear seats out, blast everything with pb (including the top bolts)....try to take the front strut bar out (those bolts at times strip on me and hence it will be a potential problem on the day of install)....
