i think u're missing the point; maybe its me, last meet scenic views were nice (something for the better half and good spot for photos but it lacked a climax...) if we establish a social environment utilizing "chow" as a catalyst; this can stimulate interaction w/ others plus everyone knows as long as u have food, everybody is happy. or maybe i'm just an antisocial kind of a guy? In order to have large groups up there we have to contact the park ahead of time and tell them how many cars we have and get a permit to drive in groups. Last time They had about 20 S2000's and they told them that they couldn't drive in more then groups of three.

Just a question, Isnt it $10 a car to get on skyline drive? also a very small road for this large of a group.

The road is over 100 miles long. I've done the whole thing (flying through it, too, with acurage). Trust me, it's not small.

The actual raod that runs thru the park is small and the speed limit is very low but the road that runs behind it is long as hell and speed limit is about 50 I think

83 !!! Holy Shiznit!!! If we all show..... Hell if half show it will be off the hook!! Last time we only had about 30 and people in cars not even part of the group turned around to join in!!

The Front Royal shopping center is a good meeting point to regroup, take bathroom breaks and allow others to catch up. I think it would be a good idea to use a park area to cook out not a scenic pull off to keep this under control and organized.

Lets hope the weather holds. It would be a good idea to plan a rain date.
