We had a co-worker move to another store and there is an immediate opening at roberts oxygen in lancaster.
You will work hard and a lot will be expected of you.
The line about being able to get a cdl is not necessary. they just want to know that you have the ability to get it.
You will work closely with my boss and myself and will be trained by both of us. There isn't a ton of room to move up in the company if you plan on staying in the area. It is a very stable job and the retirement is excellent.
Again, a lot is expected out of an employee and this is difficult to do, but the boss is very understanding.
It will take about a year for you to be comfortable as there are many different responsibilities.
The workday is 7:30-5pm 95% of the time. If a customer comes in late, we service them. We're a very customer service oriented company and they come first.
There are NO weekends except for one SAturday in December for inventory. This past year we didn't have to go in, so no weekends.
You will sweat your ass off in the summer unloading a trailer of cylinders but you work the rest of the day for the most part in the AC. In the winter, you'll freeze your ass off unloading the same stock trailers.
You MUST have stable work history. If you are a job jumper, you better have a good excuse.
You must be honest and be able to be as acurate as possible to not screw up a customers' order.

We have never had a layoff since the company was started in 1966. We have over 40 locations from PA to SC.
You will also be able to buy welding supplies at cost, that is an excellent benefit.

The ideal Inside Sales, Counter Sales candidate will possess proven skills for providing excellent and effective customer service and with building trusted and long term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability. Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:
Immediately and politely responds to all walk-in visitors and customers.
Promptly answer phones in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
Provides excellent customer service through respectful and courteous address of questions regarding services, products, and invoices.
Efficiently processes customer sales.
Builds trusted and long term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability.
Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling and fill in branch coverage.
Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation.
Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures.
Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
Attitude and ability to provide excellent customer service.
2yrs of insides sales, customer service, or welding experience.
Basic computer ease, comfort, and fluency or the ability to quickly gain necessary skills.
Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function.
Ability to lift 75lbs.
Unload 2 tractor trailers of cylinders per week as part of cylinder replenishment program at the branch.
High school education or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Class A or B CDL preferred; ability to obtain necessary.
Excellent driving record and ability to pass drug screen and background check.
