You know what, thinking about it, I think there is. I remember when i poured Seafoam in the tank, i think I went a little extra slow so it made it past the tab. I'll go out and take a look.

Adrian, i might be thinking of my other car. Saturday i tried putting gas in the TL and for some reason the pump wouldn't work. I went to another pump and the same thing happened. I was thinking that there was a sliver circular tab that is in the way when you put the nozzle in but i think i might be getting confused with my 4runner.

For the mod meet, I think I am just going to swap out the filter on my CAI and possibly tune my system a bit. Not much else I can afford to do unless you guys can help me find that annoying squeak.

I don't have all of the details yet, but the MEMORIAL DAY CAR SHOW is definitely ON this year. I believe the date is Monday, May 25th, 2009 at the Philippine Cultural Center in Virginia Beach (same as last year).
I think the Honda Meet is the following weekend.. Maybe we can all try to do both??? That would be a nice way to kick off the summer season!!!
BTW, Dave.. How is your hand healing?

My finger is doing a lot better now, still swollen and not fully limber yet but coming right along. Part of that is my fault though as I don't think about working it too much, especially at work. But the good thing is it does not hurt at all anymore. The sensation of it is still hyper sensitive, but that will go away with time as well.
Steve, congratulations to you and the misses!!!!
Derrick, not sure what if anything I want to do but I don't mind just coming by to help out where I can. If I have the resources, I do want to paint my calipers and my engine cover, color matching of course.

Hey Dave, glad to hear everything is going well with your finger.
If you end up wanting to paint your calipers, I'm sure it's something we can get done that day. It's really easy. I would suggest the brush on caliper paint vice the spray though. Other than that, all you need is some brake parts cleaner and a wire brush, and I think I have both of those in my garage. I think I might like to redo mine as well. I painted mine black a few years ago and they can use to be touched up. I also wouldn't mind cleaning the inside of my wheel and my wheel wells while I have the wheel off. I could also use a touch-up on the plastic piece on the top of the valve cover and the valve cover itself, but I'll leave those for another day, that will take some work for me to get it how I want it to look. Btw, if you make it out, would you be able to throw my car cover in the trunk?

As for insurance, I would advise against it. Even if they pay on the claim, chances are your rates will go up and you will end up paying for those wheels 10 times over.

I agree with mike as far as the insurance. I got my front bumper fix on a claim that was my fault. My insurance went up $30 a month. Not much, but I didn't need the increase regardless.

They said that something punctured the tire. Fortunately I noticed it fast enough that the tire got mangled but the rim wasn't really damaged. Although I am losing air again in that wheel, which is making me wonder if I possibly damaged that weld when the tire blew or maybe I ran over something else.
