Acura mechanic in NOVA?
This thread was probably started at some point in the past, but I want to ask again....where do you take your car for service? Dealer? Independent Mech?
I am new to the area, in Alexandria, and have the B1 service on my dash. Radley seems to be the most convenient place, but.....well, are there other options? more affordable ones?

Welcome to NoVa, not sure about indy's but the dealers in NoVa are all pretty good. I use Pohanka (in Chantilly), purchased car there.
There are two Radley's; Baileys Crossroads and Woodbridge. I'd stay away from Baileys X Roads, just because of all the traffic and how small that lot is.
There's a good mechanic that works out of his house, he installed my Aspec body kit and shocks. Dennis Furlong, dennis.furlong at gmail dot com , not sure if he is still doing it though.

Three Wheelin'
Even though they have the same owners, Radley in Woodbridge is a lot better than the one in Bailey's Crossroad. I've heard some horror stories about the one in Bailey's Crossroad, but that was a few years ago and I don't know if they've changed.
And to Dennis. He's a good guy and worked on my 335i few weeks ago.

he is a work at home mechanic that does everything and anything, his real name is paul. he does simple maintanence work like changing oil, etc. but also does anything else from transmission conversions, engine builds(like stroker kits for our cars), internal work, street tuning, Powdercoating, wire tucking and even now make custom supercharger and turbo charger kit which are made as ordered.
many indivduals on here, like myself, and members on v6net have had work done by paul and always leave very satisfied. plus his prices are very reasonable.

Anyone else have any suggestions for people to contact for work in the NoVA area?
I've pm'ed the member you mentioned and checked out i-modify.com already - I just like comparing multiple quotes and shit.

Dennis is f'n awesome. There's really no need to look anywhere else. If you're close to him, than it's a no brainer. He books up pretty far in advance though so better call quick!

Oops...I forgot to mention I am located in Northern VA - Fairfax county.
Thanks!
I am due for my B4 service (105k): Timing Belt, Water pump and spark plug replacement.
Anyone know of a reputable mechanic who can do the job?
Thanks!

I recently had my 105k service done at radley acura in baileys crossroads. (Now i dont have 105k on my car but the car is now 7 years old.) If you have the extended warrenty you would want to talk to brian at radley. He set it up for me to claim the water pump on the warranty and then only charged me for the timing belt change and also had my unorthidox racing pulley put on at the same time and it cost right at $500 all said and done.
Now if you dont have the extended warrenty the service runs $1000 and if you sign up for there mailing list they send out coupons every month for service and parts.

My TL can do this, too!
